Good Concise Study of Key Theory
This is a great book for those who are having a hard time grasping the concept of Circle of Fifth theory or keys. In college; had I known that I could read a book like this to make more sense out of music theory I would have been better in my music theory course.

A book that gets straight to the essence!!! Love it!
I love the simplicity of this book. It's short and really helps you understand the circle of fifths. It get's straight to the essence of what you need to know and how to understand what you're doing. I read it in increments while taking the time to implement what I was learning right away. I think that really sped up my process. I practiced playing the major and minor scales daily based only on how many sharps and flats they had - so that I knew them by heart. I was also able to write songs immediately and learn how to play popular songs based on chords I googled. By the time I finished the book I had written 13 songs and understood the basics of how chords are created and how to play them. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to write their own songs or wants to be able to play other songs quickly and easily. I'm gonna start reading another one of this authors books right away. Absolutely love it! Thanks so much Mantius!

Best source so far!
This is one of the most user-friendly books I have seen on the subject, covering the entire gamut of possibilities the Circle of Fifths can offer. I keep it as a favourite source for review and consultation during my piano training. Highly recommended!

Recommend even for experienced musicians
I learned much from this book and I've been playing the accordion for over 50 years.I never really tried to understand the circle of fifths. I didn't realize what a useful tool this is.

Good summary
A few obvious typos in places but in general a good introduction and very quick initial read (45 mins). Although, of course, it will take much longer to master the material.

Expand your learning & never stop
Very well explained and illustrated. Well organized. Able to expand thinking into those often unused keys. Practical enough to use daily and often

There's better help elswhere.
A friend brought my attention to this book, I really wanted to like and get on with this book and had high hopes. However, reading it feels like a drudgery. It's written in a sort of casual manner as if it's a conversation between "mates". Some people might like this informal approach though, it must be acknowledged. There are certain sections of the book, which are just data printed out. i.e here are the keys of etc, etc, etc and more of the same.I've got to about 16% of the book (Yes, kindle docs don't have page numbers) and very tired of it. I hope the rest of the book isn't as bad (bad - might be too stronger a word).
