I usually don't write a review until I've had, and used, an item for a while but I'm going to make an exception this time because this item has some mixed reviews and I want you to know my story. I received this foam wedge pillow yesterday. It arrived compressed and in a roll. When I took it out of it's wrapper it started filling out immediately. Right out of the box there was NO odor to deal with at all....no smell of any kind. I sat it aside for a few hours to allow it to expand properly. Literature with it does say it can take 24 hours. Mine only took an hour or so to feel full and firm.You should know just a little about me. I'm 70 years old and have a seriously degenerated spine from the base of my neck to my lower back. I can stand and walk but not for long so I use a wheelchair to get around. Sleeping for me has not been an easy thing to do for some time now. I'm always dealing with pinched nerves unless I get in just the right position to sleep. My bed is still in good condition but it's 15 years old and a little too firm for my current situation. I couldn't afford to buy a new mattress so I thought I'd try making it more comfortable with a few additions. The first thing I purchased was an "Extra Plush Bamboo Removable Mattress Pillow Top" mattress cover. That really did make my mattress much more comfortable but I needed more. THEN I FOUND THIS WEDGE PILLOW!!!!All the pictures show this wedge pillow on top of the bed so first I tried it laying on top of my mattress. It was comfortable but I wanted a wee bit more softness while maintaining firm support so I put mine under my mattress topper last night. I used a comfortable pillow for my neck AND GOT THE BEST NIGHT'S SLEEP I'VE HAD IN TWO YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I am SO grateful. I never felt one pinched nerve last night and I didn't wake up with my arms tingling. I used to be a side sleeper but can't do that any more so now sleep on my back. This pillow is wide enough so you don't feel like you're going to fall off the side. The gradual angle of the pillow from front to back is perfectly graduated so there's no feeling of having something under your back. My back was just raised the right amount to give me good support while taking the pressure off the points on my spine that pinch nerves. I purchased the 7" pillow. If you're going to be buying this to lay in bed and read or watch TV, it does come in different heights so you can up to 12". Who knows...I might try that one too...lol. Thank you SO much for the relief. I really hope it continues.I wasn't paid for this review or given any special price. I've never heard of this company before so this is a completely unbiased, unsolicited comment which I am very happy to give. As I said before, if things change...I'll come right back here and let you know.I am SO happy and SO grateful I found this pillow. Now I realize I've only used it one night. Things happen..although I've really got my fingers crossed. If ANY problems develop with this pillow, I promise I will come back and edit this review. I just felt like I had to write it immediately in case there's anyone else out there like me who has so much pain, can't get a decent night's sleep, and needs HELP. Don't get me wrong. This isn't a miracle pillow. My back isn't miraculously like new BUT I can sleep in peace for 6 or 7 hours. This is the best $25 I've could have spent towards a good night's sleep. Oh, by the way...when I woke up this morning I was laying there thinking....could I???? Could I lay on my side???? YES I CAN...lol

This was definitely bigger then what I wanted and was not able to use for sleeping because of how high the wedge was.

This wedge is comfortable. I have the shortest option wedge. It is a small slant and good for reflux and my neck discomfort. for reading you need another pillow or two on top, or you can flip it over but that is very upright. It does have a smell and I do notice some irritation of my asthma and allergies. They are certipur certified so I'm trusting that it's not toxic and will eventually air out. I've had this a few weeks. have washed the cover twice. I can use for a little while and then have to remove it from the bedroom to sleep. I do still smell the foam on my sheets, clothing and pillows. Not super strongly but definitely still there. I am giving 4 stars because the foam is quite comfortable. I will say that this wedge is probably for short-ish people. I'm 5'7" and its on the verge of being too short. people have commented that their low back hurts. I think those are folks who are taller and if they put the bottom of the wedge at their low back, their head may be off the wedge. if I place the wedge properly, my head is all the way at the top. So if you put a pillow on top of the wedge, part of that pillow extends beyond the top of the wedge. This requires you to scoot the whole set up down and you will be sleeping or resting a little lower in the bed than you are used to. This is just my experience. Alternately, I keep the wedge in a normal position at the headboard, and put a small camp pillow in the small of my back to fill the gap. This isn't a complaint but realistically, if you are taller, it will take some fussing and adjusting to get this to work well. If you are shorter, this is probably not and issue. I wish this came in sizes for user height rather than just different wedge thicknesses. And I am keeping fingers crossed that some day there will be an eco friendly, respiratory friendly foam!!. But for now this is not a bad choice.

This product work well for my acid reflux problem.. Very good quality...love it..very good pillow.

Good for pregnancy when paired with a v shaped pillow to raise my thighs and hips but I actually bought the pillow for back and acid reflux relief before falling pregnant. The pillow was not good for lower back / hip issues as focuses the pressure towards the hips. Might be ok if you get a leg pillow too. The angle actually made my acid reflux worse (before pregnancy) and my brother tried it for sleep apnea and found it made no improvement. If you suffer for any of these conditions it’s worth a try as symptoms vary per person but for me the pillow did not live up to all its claims.I do like that it has a bamboo removable cover - good for cleaning and the environment with bamboo being a sustainable material

I am a big woman and I still feel "supported" by this wedge (rather than going "through" the foam).I have been using it for a couple of weeks so far and I am satisfied.Don't forget to consider the thickness of your pillow while buying a wedge, since it adds extra height overall.

Estimados señoresAdjunto 3 fotografías tomadas de la almohada, despues de 15 horas de haberla desempacado, donde se aprecia que la almohada llegó deformada y parece que no recuperará la forma y dimensiones que debe tener por lo que la cubierta de tela le queda grande.Cabe mencionar que la almohada no ha sido utilizada.Yo compré anteriormente una almohada idéntica en Costco en la Ciudad de México y nunca tuve este problema.Espero averigüen que fue lo que pasó y me la cambien o me devuelvan mi dinero.Trámite la devolución y acabe perdiendo dinero del costo del flete ya que sólo me devolvieron como el 25 % de lo que gaste.Quedé totalmente insatisfecho con el proveedor y/o el inermediario. No lo recomiendo y no vuelvo a comprar algún producto de este proveedor.Gracias por su atención
