They work as designed and do save the plants when we are gone in our super hot summers. Neat and simple as you just fill and forget them while you are gone. The dry soil sucks up more water. Very neat.

I tried one of these ,but my plant is dry . I don't see any water going on the pot. And of course, I wonder , how the water will drip in the pot , if there is no any pressure to make it flow

I went away for 10 days and used these in combination with a watering mat for my herbs and a self-watering pot for my tomatoes and they worked wonderfully. I am sure that had I only been away for 5 - 7 days these would have worked fine on their own. I used the two small ones for the herbs and put both of the larger ones in the tomato pot. They are easy to use and fit most pots fine. You just have to make sure you have enough soil in the pot - I had to add some to the herbs to make sure the point was buried. Overall I would recommend these and woudl probably buy more.

These are very helpful. They keep you from having to water every day. I use the smaller ones for hanging plants and the larger ones for patio potted plants. I definitely recommend them.

The media could not be loaded.  I was so happy with the results I obtained that I placed several repeat orders for this product. I cannot recommend this product enough. My plants used to die all the time. Now with this device, my plants are thriving and very healthy. The color blends very well with my decor and with the green plants and no one can tell that I have an extra device to water my plants. I use this in several rooms in my dwelling, including in the living room. You will not regret purchasing this.

these by far work better than any of the other extended watering systems I have tried -- especially the gravity systems with the filter rings. however, it does not last the stated amount of time. I find that within 4 to 5 days, the water been emptied into the planter. it does keep the plant alive vs. the gravity options which are a total waste of money.

I liked this very much and it did work beautifully. It is the next evolution from bottle spikes which permitted the whole bottle of water to empty into the pot. Only drawback was for potted plants which do not have dirt level within reach of the spike.
