Best matcha I’ve tried in the U.K.!!!
I have been using the black premium matcha for 3 months now. The best matcha I have ever used available in the U.K. couldn’t recommend them enough especially a small business 👏🏾 it’s an incredible green colour and you can taste that it really is quality premium matcha !

Award winning matcha
Best matcha I’ve ever tried. Sweet, earthy and not too bitter like most matcha on the market. For one person, one pot every 2-3 months on a subscribe and save offers more value. For perfect results sift through a fine tea strainer before adding water (80°C or lower).

Ideal for anyone wanting to try Matcha for the first time
I wanted to try matcha and was totally bewildered by the amount of choice out there. From doing a bit of googling on how to make it, when I found these single serve sachets I thought this would be the easiest way to ensure that I was adding just the right amount. The 10 sachets arrived packed up in a little green cardboard box (about the size of a deck of cards) which made it easy to store them without losing them.Matcha tea is very finely ground which made it a little tricky opening the sachets as the powder did have a tendency to fly out everywhere, so I quickly came to realise that it was best to cut the top of the sachet off with a pair of scissors and then upend it in the cup before shaking it gently to encourage the tea to fall out. Then you add a bit of hot (not boiling) water and any sweeter you'd like to add - Matcha is very bitter - give it a quick whisk to blend away any lumps which may have formed and then fill up with either milk or water dependent on what drink you are making. My fave is to make a latte using oat milk and a bit of maple syrup as a sweetener.I've since tried other brands and this one is slightly more bitter than some of the others but does appear to be of an extremely high quality. Unfortunately all good quality matcha teas are expensive but i've knocked off a couple of stars for value for money as c. £8 for just 10 drinks is more than I'd want to pay in the future even though the quality is superb. As I said in the title i would definitely recommend this to anyone who wanted to give Matcha a try for the first time as it does make sure you get just the right amount in your drink.

UPDATED REVIEW: Very good, smooth, delicious Matcha
I previously wrote a negative review about this product as I was genuinely disappointed with it, but upon reading my review, the company got in touch with me and I tried another tin and it was much, much better than the first one. My original review is below and it seems I was just unlucky to have received an anomalous batch as the new one I tried is much nicer, brighter, tastes a lot smoother and more delicious, definitely what I'd expect from a top quality matcha. Very happy with the product and the company as a whole. It's pricey, but I will definitely be buying another one after I'm finished with this one. I do wish I could rate it 4.5 or even 4.9 as I feel I still have to factor in the original bad batch. But given the much better second tin and the excellent customer service, I don't think it would be right to rate it 4 stars, so I'm going with 5. Either way, this is a great matcha and I'm very pleased with it.Original review: 'According to their website, OMGTEA know what makes a good matcha, fine powder, bright, flourescent green, lovely smooth taste. But this product is none of those things. It's grainy and so it's harder to mix than every other matcha I've tried, it's dark green and has an overly earthy, not so pleasant taste. If I did a blind taste test, I would never guess this was matcha. This is easily the worst matcha I've bought on Amazon and the most expensive. Very disappointing, will definitely not be buying anything from OMGTEA again.'

Worst purchase ever
Horrible bitter taste, way too expensive for the amount you get, and the tin comes half empty, I feel robbed.

Difficult to get into cup
I had Matcha tea made for me a while ago, so I thought I’d try some again. To start with it was very difficult to get the tea out of the sachets, it resulted in splitting the sachet with a knife then scrapping the tea out. The instructions said to use 60 degree water to make a paste, then use 80 to whisk up the tea, how on earth are you to know the temperature in a normal kitchen? The tea never got frothy although I’d whisked and whisked, it tasted very bitter and nothing like I’d had before, perhaps I’d better try another brand?
