Mercer CulinaryHell's Handle Heavy Duty Turner/Spatula, 5 Inch x 3 Inch

This is a really good tool. It's got a decently sharp edge perfect for cutting IN the pan (I only use cast iron, so no worries.) It is a perfect size for a 10- or 12-inch pan, anything smaller and there's not much room to maneuver. This is a very strong, not flexible tool. Very happy with purchase, may get the long-handled version, though we don't grill as much as we used to.

This is my second different tool in this Mercer Culinary Hell's Handle line of kitchen tools, and I love them both. This is a great, heavy-duty, every day turner for my cast iron cookware. The stainless is thick and heavy, up for anything. The synthetic handle is comfy and grippy, but not lightweight or flimsy like synthetic handles on many kitchen tools.This is the perfect medium size for almost any type of food, it's heavy enough to stand up to anything, and you can get good leverage for scraping on the bottom, whatever you need. Clean up is a breeze with these, I usually wash by hand it's so easy, but do sometimes throw it in the dishwasher, no problem. On anything except my few non-stick skillets, I reach for this as my preferred turner every time.Great value for the price!

This is a mom-flexible spatula of a good working length. It’s great for scraping the burnt on residue from a pan after searing as it has a sharp edge. Great for flipping pancakes too. It has some weight to it but is not cumbersome. Definitely recommend!

Good, sturdy, well-made spatula, but… the handle is too short.

I use these in my restaurant. I a new scraper since my coworkers abuse the ones provided by our boss. This one is way better than the ones provided, even if they weren't abused. This turner is incredibly sturdy and stiff. There is no flex whatsoever when picking up food. The handle was left on a 375 degree griddle by accident for a whole hour before I noticed it, and it didn't even leave a smooth spot.

You certainly pay a bit extra for the branding, but this spatula is just the right size and weight for working on cast iron pans and griddles, especially for making smashburgers.Very durable and well made.

Sorry George Motz, I'm not spending $230 on a spatula. I bought this one instead and it does the job admirably for smashed burgers (just add a weight on top while you do it, like a bottle). It picks up almost all of the crust with enough force. If it can do that, it's great for anything else you're cooking.

Really like this turner.Very well made. Nice and heavy. Made with thick s/s with beveled edges.Got the small 5x3 one as I didn't want to spend to much on it as I may only be using it few times a year for a BBQ. But to my surprise this is not at all small to me.I'd say this is a perfect size for a BBQ and griddle.Absolutely delighted with it.

Awesome piece of professional kitchen equipment. Very sturdy and you can tell the handle won’t snap off any time soon unlike inferior brands. Also the bevelled edge removes burnt on carbon from a flat top griddle surprisingly easily. Always used chemicals to clean ours, will no longer have to! Top purchase, will be buying more of their products
