Easy, very easy to set up and definitely enhances the aesthetics of your home. I purchased the white set. It makes the home look bright, modern and classy.I highly recommend for sure....

I prepped the metal surface on our camper with alcohol, let dry 24 hours. Then I applied 3M VHB double sided tape, let cure 48 hours; also used a roller to smooth out any bubbles. Then we applied the light strip after removing the backing and rolled it with a roller. Good adhesion everywhere but right at the connector end where the wires attach. It is suprisingly bright at night. I imagine that the strip adhesive on its own is not enough to support the strip against gravity.

bought these to build footwell lights in an older vehicle - the warm white is a fairly close match to the dome light, and they stick on the bottom of the dash panels reasonably well (I keep 3M tape around for these kind of projects, so I wasn't too disappointed with the minor adhesion issues).Like all of the water-resistant strings, these present a challenge to scrape down the sealer when I try to solder wires on the cut lines (every 3 LEDs) so I'm content with using the existing ends for my two lights and then try to use the rest in another project - back row footwells, perhaps?

Long lasting and actually sticks.

Do NOT recommend! The adhesive is useless. Clearly the same adhesive for standard strip lights was used, not accounting for the added weight of the waterproof feature. After I installed them, half of the lights did not work (they all lit when I tested them out of the package), and I did not pinch or bend any of the strip. They were falling off in less than 24 hours. VERY disappointed and frustrated. Already ordered something else. These are junk.

Not bright

This LED strip was just what I needed to brighten up the area inside and under my camper cabinets. I bought the soft white strip and am very pleased. The light strip is covered with a clear silicon rubber that makes the entire string very flexible, durable, and waterproof. Safe places to cut the strip are marked on the strip, making it easy to cut to length. Any length can be cut, as long as you cut where indicated. I cut three lengths to install in/under my cabinets. I cleaned off the clear silicon rubber covering to expose the solder pads with an exacto knife and easily soldered wires to the strip. The power and ground wires can be soldered to any set of pads anywhere along the string and it will power the entire string. Make sure to make the proper pos and neg connections, as LEDs are sensitive to polarity. Polarity is marked on the strip. The adhesive back sticks very well to a smooth surface. Very low current draw. Perfect for my installation. I have plenty left over and am looking for other places to use it!
