Excellent comprehensive product.
Hi. I have 5 of these to date and they do pretty much what I want. Their main use for me is to monitor power rather than switch items on and off and as they don't care which way the current flows, one of them is connected to a grid tie inverter to monitor power production from a 550 watt feed in system. I will be testing one soon on a modified sine wave inverter to see if it it can log that output as well. One unit is on my office equipment and the main PC is on 24/7 monitoring security cameras, the whole system was drawing 4 kWh a day, just under 200 watts constantly. After some testing I found the vast majority of this was from the PC which was about 6 years old, pretty powerful but woefully inefficient. I had another of equal performance but more up to date doing nothing, so I set this up and the whole system now draws 60 watts or so, around 1.6 kWh a day, which will save me around ยฃ130 a year. I use the Smart Life- Smart Living app which is excellent, very comprehensive, and that, coming from someone who has written software in the past, is praise indeed. These plugs allow you to turn the unit on or off from the main screen, provide a countdown timer, but beware, once it starts you can't stop it. They also allow you to schedule multiple on and off functions and they provide power consumption logging. The power consumption, referred to as statistics, comprises total kWh for the day up to the time of viewing, the current being drawn, power being used and voltage at the time of viewing. Also shown is the total power used in kWh from the start date of the logging. There is also a graphical display of each months power use showing each days total consumption in kWh. Overall these units provide a comprehensive power switching and data logging service which is second to none.

Slow blinking method set up worked best for us. See instructions
I purchases these smart plugs to Operate the many Christmas lights up around our home. Firstly when installing we had to ensure that plug, router and phone were close to each other. They come with instructions to set up snd found it quite fiddly initially. Firstly you nred to download the smart life app on your phone. The best option for us was the slow blinking mode set up which involved connection to the smart life wifi on your phone. They connected quickly this way. Refer to the instruction for details. Once all connected i then set about syncing devices to alexa. This was straight forward initially. I even grouped the plugs together with Christmas lights as the name. All worked fine for a couple of days until a power cut. Now i have lost connection between Alexa and Smart Life. Out of the 8 plugs Alexa only recognises 2 of them. The remaining state unresponsive and not sure why but is apparently quite a common problem with smart home devices not just this manufacturer. It was no big problem as i simply operated them From my phone in the smart life app. No crawling around on hands on knees turning off plugs for me this Christmas:-) This was a game changer for me as for 1 I struggle to get up of floor once down and 2 everyone would race to bed ahead of me to avoid turning many Christmas lights off. I received an email from the supplier giving details of their Customer Service if help need setting up which is great so now Christmas is over and have more time I will ring to see what the issue is with Alexa. Overall I would purchase these again and infact did as purchased a 2nd set, as once discovered slow blinking set up method managed to set up 8 plugs in under 10 minutes. Hope this has been helpful.

Well, donโt I feel like Lady Muck
These bad boys are a Couch Potatoโs dream. So your floor lamp has a foot press control to save you going over to the wall socket, but you just donโt want to have to shift your heavy plant to go step on it. Plug in one of these, and you can illuminate your life on a mere whim. I marvel at the ease to which I am arrived, and despise myself for the indulgence. Ease wins. Buy them, and then buy some more for your Mum.

Ordered 3 lots, can't fault any of them and they work flawlessly.
The plugs themselves are a doddle to setup, very simple install instructions, they work as described. The physical on off button them is out of the way so its hard to accidentally push it. The plugs don't take up too much room so they fit perfectly in a double socket together. About to order my 4th set for some more plugs i'm using. They are also great for a present as well. The WiFi reach great too (they only use the 2.4Ghz range) which makes them ideal for medium sized homes. I have 2 foot thick stone walls and even so, they can still connect to the access points around the house. Easy integration with Alexa as well. Nice to see them store the energy usage so you can monitor power usage and see when devices are on or off. We suffer from regular power outages and when the electric comes back, these come straight back on to their last known state and connect to the WiFi immediately. No need for human interaction to get them working. Only thing i would like to see is the ability to store the energy usage metrics for each plug away from the device (cloud) itself and graph them on my own server at home for storing the data over a long period of time.

As described
The Smart Plug is exceptionally easy to integrate into an existing home network, offering a seamless setup process that has it up and running in minutes. It pairs perfectly with both Alexa and the Smart Life app, providing responsive voice control and reliable remote access from anywhere. Whether you are looking to automate a lamp or manage appliances through complex smart scenes, its stable connectivity and effortless "plug-and-play" nature make it a perfect addition to any modern smart home ecosystem.

Time and money saving product
Got these when my 20yr old timer on my Aquarium lights died, as with many I initially had a problem getting the first one to connect, in my case I found it was typing in the password for my BT router was taking too long as it is full of numbers, capitals and lower case jumbled together and the plug had "lost interest" by the time I finished, it did not help that a failed attempt also meant the Smart Life app didn't retain the password and we went into a vicious circle until I finally opened a notepad app, typed in the password into that, and used copy/paste into the app, the next attempt was successful, the app remembers the password and adding the rest of the plugs was as easy as the first one should have been. I hope this helps someone. connecting to google was easy and I've now got voice control over various items in my home as well as being able to add schedules and set up rules that help greatly, if I forget to switch anything off going to work as soon as I have left 100ft radius from my home everything switches off, fantastic.
