Very poor quality replacement hinges
I brought this to replace the hinge on my sony, wow this thing is like literally of the worst quality, with crooked edges, incorrect size of the wire hole. Just look at the pictures and compare with original. I never expected such a bad quality for 14 bucks, it looks like a 50 cent job.

Works fine you need a soldering iron, tweezers, and small phillips
Fits perfectly, plastic seems as tick as what it replaced. The sliding action in not as crisp as the OG though. The bumps are more rounded.I do tech work and would rate this a mid line repair as far as the work just because you have to soldier and de-soldier the wires. Be sure to do that the the battery on the right side first! (I just removed the positive). My work may not be as clean as OG, and the cheap part may not be as good as the OG but my headphones work 98% like the did new, if I didn’t tell you, you probably wouldn’t know it wasn’t 100% OG.

Not sure of quality?
When you see how much of your original headset you must remove you'll feel the product description is misleading. If you do not know how to solder fiber optics, you BETTER take these to a pro. IT'LL COST YA! But then you'll also find out buying this product was a waste of time and money. That maybe what the manufacturers of the Sony headset want - YOU TO JUST BUY ANOTHER HEADSET! BOSE ANYONE!

Its not as good as expected
The plastic is very flimsy. Not strong

this parts broke in like a week after I installed them, and they were very loose

This replacement part didn't match the sony part. I was disappointed.
