awesome strings BUT
I like the brightness these give off when you first put these on. They got a squeak to them and they'll drag on your fingers (not like elixirs) They last 3x more than normal earth wood strings

Versitile, Affordable, Long-Lasting Strings.
I never used to use Ernie Balls much because early on, for some reason, I got the impression they were mostly an electric guitar string company. Don't know whether that's true or not, but the idea's been sitting around in my head long as I can remember.Well, I'm an acoustic guy--my main axes are a rosewood Martin dread and a Gibson SJ made of mahogany--and I was getting really sick of my strings dying every couple weeks, so I thought I'd give these a try. Loved them! Good boom and thump out of the Martin strung with mediums, warm punchy growl from medium-lights on the mahogany. Nice projection on both. I like Elixr Nanowebs equally as much (if not a hair better), but both brands really seem to get out of the way and let the guitar do the talking; you don't hear the color of the string so much as the wood itself. I like that.I'll take Balls over Elixrs for the lower price, but I'll take either of 'em over D'Addario EXP"s. I find when those D'Addarios go, they don't just fade away, they seem to drop dead all at once. A note of caution: Ball's "Medium Lights" are equal to other brands' "Lights" (12-54), and their Mediums are just like regular old Mediums (13-56). Can be confusing at first. They work for me. Try them out!

Amazing strings
They sound amazing but the seem to be a bit more stiff than lighter strings- if you like bending on acoustic guitar then you will have to work a bit harder but great strings overall

Muddy tone!
TONE IS A MATTER OF TASTE! MY REVIEW IS MY OPINION!I bought these to save a few bucks on restringing an inexpensive Washburn acoustic that has a great bellowing tonal range not unlike what Martins are known for. However it is extremely sensitive to string choice and these absolutely demolished my treble and any tonal clarity between combined strumming and picking. After taking these off and putting a set of Elixir Nanowebs of the same gauge on it, the brightness of the tone and clarity of intonation returned to the guitar. These also had a fairly pronounced amount of finger chirp that I was a bit unaccustomed to, so be aware of that.

Super warm and smooth tone
After experimenting with 2 other brands in a week, these were the strings I was looking for. Super smooth and warm sounding, even right after being strung.I was trying to match the tone I had on my Breedlove which I bought used. The guitar still sounded awesome, but the old strings looked old and dirty and clearly needed to be replaced. The guys at Guitar Center recommended D'Addario Phosphor Bronze which I did not like at all. Way too bright. I swapped out with Martin SP Phosphor Bronze, which I liked more... but still not the same. They were less bright than the D'Addarios, but still louder and brighter than the sound I had before swapping out the original strings.Matching the color / style of the ball ends on the strings I narrowed down to either Elixir, or Ernie ball. (All gold-colored ends, coated. D'Addario strings have multi-colored ball ends.)These Ernie Balls came in yesterday and literally from the first chord I played, I knew the experimenting was over. The tone is AWESOME. If you prefer a warmer Martin-ish sound over a brighter Taylor-ish sound, these strings are HIGHLY recommended. They are also much easier to play than both of the sets I replaced... even though they were 11s and these are 12s.

Excelente sonido
Me gustó el color y duración. Tonos cálidos. Sin embargo, recientemente cambie al mismo modelo pero en calibre 11-52. La diferencia es brutal. Recomiendo estás últimas.

Decent Strings
I've never had any issues with Ernie Ball strings they always sound fantastic and hold up well, even through heavy bending. They can last up to a month or more without losing their quality. Overall, a great brand for reliable, long-lasting strings.

Wonderful tone and long-lasting.
I tried these strings on two acoustic guitars instead of Light Gauge. The difference in tone, more depth, and still with ease of playing, means I am now a convert. The small increase in the gauge of the wound strings makes a big difference!
