A supplement that actually works
I've tried many supplements over the years with my horses and had decided that most of them really don't work so I was a bit skeptical about this one for dogs.We had a big, un-neutered pit bull dog show up at our farm a few weeks ago. He's a sweet boy, but almost has a slight frantic edge to his energy. We are on a wait list for his neuter surgery and I know it will help settle him some, but I thought I'd give this supplement a try while we are waiting for the surgery date.I'll have to say, I'm pretty impressed. It's not a sedative, but it is helping to smooth out his energy a bit. He's still full of it, but it's not a frantic need to move / do something all the time. I'm giving him a tablet with his breakfast and dinner as he's a big boy - seems to be the right dose for him.I'll be keeping these on hand from now on. With a pack of 8 dogs, it's always good to have a stash of something that works! It's also priced reasonably. I'd love to see a horse version. :)

Helps my Aussie
This definitely helps my dogs anxiety. He’s a herding dog so they tend to be anxious. I can tell a difference in him when I forget to give it in the morning. The vet recommended it for him and he isn’t as triggered when he’s on it.

Working, But Pricey
I was skeptical, but it was recommended to me by a fellow lab owner. After 3 weeks, my dog does seem to handle separation anxiety better. I'm hoping that his level of 'freakout' will continue to drop as we continue to use the product. My only gripe is the price. Seems to be priced more like a prescription product than an herbal one. Not sure I can afford to keep him in it for an extended time.

Tried for a month, but no noticable results
We tried this on my vet's recommendation. To be fair, she mentioned that this may or may not work. It didn't in our case. My dog also really didn't like the taste, it was hard to get him to take. When I did get him to chew it, there were a lot of little crumbs I had to pick up as I didn't want my cats to get at them.

A Mal owners friend for life, buy this now
I can't say I can answer Amazon's question on the flavor of this suppliment but I will say that my dog doesn't mind it AFTER he's bitten into it. He'll sometimes spit it out if he doesn't get one bite on it first.I have a Belgian Maligator who is about 18/10 on the energy scale normally. After about a week on this he's now a 13/10. I forgot to give it to him 2 days in a row, back up to 18/10. He no longer jumps straight up in the air to see over the 6-ish foot brick wall and lock eyes with the neighbor anymore and I'm ok with that. For those of you saying: "But random Amazon reviewer, they are still not all the way calm!"I don't want to drug my dog and this makes him much easier to handle to where the bull is no longer in the china shop every minute of my lifeFor those other people saying: "But you're robbing him of his energy!"He's calmed just enough to stop spinning around so quick that he knocks his head on the corners of the wall or your knee-cap every 5 minutes. He can still run up a 10+ foot wall no problem with no effort.

Our pup no longer needs alprazolam!
We have tried numerous other products from a thundershirt to CBD oil with no success, so weren’t expecting this to work either, but to our pleasant surprise it did, not once but 3x now. Our nervous nelly, terrified of thunderstorms (and fireworks) Australian cattle dog who normally needs alprazolam (generic Xanax) during a storm, has successfully made it through 3 thunderstorms using Solliquin. Yes, this is considerably more expensive than his RX, and we had to use 2-3x the recommended dosage but we’d rather something “natural” than a RX. We don’t know if the same will hold true for fireworks, but luckily those only occur a couple times a year, so if he still needs alprazolam for that, that’s ok too.

Not good
I had been buying this product for my dog at my vet's office previously. The reason I was using it was to help my dog sleep at night. Prior to using this, he had insomnia several nights a week. After a few weeks of using the product sold at my vet's office, my dog started sleeping through the night regularly. I think decided to buy this product on Amazon, and shortly after using the Amazon product, my dog started having sleep problems again. It wasn't until I went to order more that I realized that the dates of when I started using the Amazon product and when my dog started waking up again coincided. So I decided to purchase the next batch from my vet, and as soon as I started using the product from my vet's office, my dog started sleeping at night again. My vet said it's possible that the Amazon product wasn't stored properly and therefore lost effectiveness. It's hard to know for sure, but from now on I will purchase this from my vet.
