Pure cotton, pure comfort
Pure cotton seems to be dying a death in the textile world. Gone are the days of 100% cotton socks and clothes, and instead we have eco-damaging synthetics woven into every strand of fibre. Alas, even bedding is falling onto this stinky trap (because synthetics just do not do will with body odours), and therefore it is much harder to get natural, ocean-life friendly pure cotton bedding too (see, the microplastic fibres wash into the waterways when we machine wash our clothes and they end up in our oceans, and little creatures eat it).I got these because the look nice and they claimed to be 100% (and some are not on Amazon, from personal experience, in spite of their claims). These are genuine and they look good too. We're really pleased with them and may get more.

I suspect it's low quality
The item looks bluer and with sharper outline of the pattern on the Amazon photo than it is in reality. It is actually a faded, washed down grey colour, as if it was an underside of a patterned fabric. I washed it before using it and it didn't shrink. However, it is very thread-bare, you can clearly see the threads and tiny spaces between them - see middle photo. Nowhere on the package it says anything about thread count, and I am not surprised. Very few of us have a lifetime to get concerned about "thread count"; why should one, surely all bed linen must be thick enough to last? The package promises "oplent sleep". I don't know what that is; must be not only a typo but a bad translation as well. I didn't bother to return it, but it is a lesson learnt: this is suspiciously cheap, and when you don't want to waste an amount which can buy you a weekend city break on bed linen, you have to search very very hard. If anyone bought it 3 years ago and still uses it, I would be very grateful to know how it holds up.

Lovely crisp cotton cover.
I especially wanted a cotton weave as I’ve hit that age when I can get very hot and bothered in the night. This duvet cover is lovely. It’s got that great crisp cotton feel but still soft enough to be very comfortable. The colour is more creamy than white which actually looks even nicer than the pics. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect
The material is not soft, yet it feels smooth and crisp clean. My partner and I have a very good sleep and we are fully satisfied with this duvet set. Might buy more.Regarding the crinkles after the wash, it is very easy to get rid of them when you wash the cover and fold in half to hang it on a string. The moisture from wash straightens the material and also on the second day of putting it on, it straightens itself.

Cotton duvet covers.
I bought these duvet covers to see if we got a better nights sleep with cotton covers instead of poly/cotton. I was not disappointed! We were nice and cool but not cold and are sleeping better. Would recommend these to any one. I will definitely be buying more of these.

Check the fit!
Unfortunately this cover is not the dimensions quoted in the ad. I’ve measured it a few times and it’s 210 x 252 cm and it should be 220 260 so it doesn’t fit.

Love the design but the cotton laddered so will return
I love this design! Unfortunately after I had washed the duvet some of the fabric started to run, I didn’t notice it until I had put it on the bed. The pattern is gorgeous and the colour is a beautiful sunshine yellow and really brightens up the room. I have decided to return it and hopefully get another as I love the design so much.

Colour Not The Same
I have only just opened this set and on the whole they look good, however, never in a millions years does it look grey. I will keep them but am disappointed that the photos representing the bedding shown on this site do not reflect their true colour. I have not ironed them but just taken them out of the package so excuse the creases.
