VW JETTA MONSTER MAT Ovl Clp

These were a little more expensive than some of the OEM rubber floor mats for Jettas out there, but I have the rare oval connectors on my 2007, so I guess I have to pay the premium. Either way, these are an essential addition to any VW Jetta or Golf in my opinion, even more so when you live in the snowy, wet Northeast. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the slightly higher than average price.

This is a replacement for the first set of monster mats I purchased for my '06 Jetta. These work great. My biggest complaint is that only the driver side wears out in typical use. You need to purchase a full set to get the drivers side. Throwing away 3 good mats seems wasteful.

Bought these for my daughter's 07 Jetta Wolfsburg sedan to replace original set. These are good mats, but probably would not go with these again in the future. We purchased 3D MAXpider mats for my wife's 08 Passat and like those better. The 3D MAXpider's have higher edges that retain snow and slush better.

These are great floor mats. They are made by Volkswagen; they are not aftermarket. It is a full set of four mats. The mounting holes for the front mats are oval, which matches the thin carpeted mats that came with my car. The black rubber is very thick and the ridges are high. The fit of each mat in my 2005.5 A5 Jetta TDI is perfect. The driver's mat does not interfere with the clutch, brake, or accelerator pedals at all.

I ordered these mats to replace my existing ones from my 2007 Jetta. The original drivers side front mat that came with the car broke down in 2011 so that any liquids from snow or rain would soak down through. I think what happened is that the ridges that are raised eventually created lines where water could soak down through the mat and keep the upholstery below wet all the time. These mats are really good since they keep water away from my pants and don't get them wet. While on the other hand they only lasted 4 years.

Its hard to find the oval clips and the rounds clips just don't work, trust me I tried. I have a 2007 Jetta Wolfsburg Edition, these are what you need. The only part I don't like is the fact it comes as a set of 4, I just wanted the front two mats. The back two don't matter, you can get those anywhere. Kinda pricey for all 4.

Fit perfectly in my 07 Jetta! For people with manuals who are worried about the clutch touching the mat and wearing a hole in it, the clutch doesn't event reach the mat for me. Like the mat is lower than where the clutch hit the floor. I wouldn't worry about that. I'm excited that I finally have fitting Jetta floor mats. Thanks!

I only needed the mat for the driver, but it came with the whole set. I'll just keep them just in case I want to exchange any of them. These mats are for my 2007 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Eidtion. Tough rubber and fits perfectly. Lifted edges, so any liquid spilled can stay on the mat. Received it in 2 days. I was pretty surprised when UPS knocked on my door just 2 days after I ordered it.
