I have been using the Pykal Luxury Microwavable Neck Heating Pad for about 3 weeks now and have absolutely loved it! It has truly been a life saver at relieving the neck and shoulder pain that I unfortunately have quite often, along with the tension that goes along with it. It only takes a few minutes to warm up in the microwave and stays on the hot to very warm side for at least 30 minutes to an hour, and is still somewhat warm even after that. Not only does it provide therapeutic heat to alleviate tension, pain, and soothe your muscles, but the heat it offers is a moist heat which seems to allow the heat to penetrate even deeper and radiate even more. Since this product wraps all the way around the neck, up the base of your head, all the way across your shoulders and even down the cervical spine area, it truly covers all of the areas that seem to hold all of the tension that causes my pain and muscle tightness. The snap buttons on the front hold the pad in place perfectly and even provides neck support which allows my head to comfortably rest in place with little to no effort. This allows my neck muscles to be even more relaxed. making the heat that much more effective. I have to say that just based on the moist heat and all the area the pad covers, this heating pad is by far the best I have tried, yet amazingly this product doesn’t stop there. The pad is infused with a blend of soothing essential oils that offer simultaneous aromatherapy, providing you with an even more relaxing experience beyond just the heat. The added aromatherapy has really been a wonderful bonus and has made using the pad that much more calming and soothing. I have also noticed that when I lay down with the pad on, the way the pad is shaped it provides great neck and head support to maintain proper next curvature. This has made even something as basic as laying on the couch and watching TV with the pad on an even more comfortable experience with or without the heat, all the while providing relaxing aromatherapy. The pad is covered in an extremely soft velvety material which of course is gentle and smooth against your skin. It seems to be made really well, be of high quality, and should hopefully last quite a long time from everything I can see at this point. Thinking about it, I guess even if it for some reason I had an issue, it does have a warranty that comes along with it so I’m not worried. When it comes to the heating part, there are easy to follow instructions (and even a link to a very helpful video) that provides you with exactly how to properly fold it, and how long to warm it based on the power of your microwave. My microwave is 1250 watts so I put it in for 2 minutes and 20 seconds, but then I unfold it and wrap it around the other way and warm it in 30 second increments 2-3 additional times. I might try it up to a total of 5 minutes at some point, but this time structure has worked out great so far for me. As I hope you can tell by now, I truly love this pad and am so glad that I have this to relax with anytime my muscles start acting up. It has truly provided significant relief especially when I come home after a long stressful day at work. Oh, and before I forget, the really nice, quality bag that it comes in makes it easy to take it with you anywhere you go and store away anytime you’re not using it. I hope this review helps you if you are considering this pad for yourself or already have it and are curious about the heating process that others are using. Either way, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! I am sure you will though.

I like it so far but the smell is a little much for me. Maybe 1 or 2 of these scents together would be ok but all 4 is a little much. Like the look and feel. Wish it got a little hotter / it chokes me a little. I may fashion a little bit of a counter weight for the front.

I decided to try this product because of the large coverage area that it has. It covers the shoulders, upper back, and neck very well. The pair of plastic snaps work well to keep it on my shoulders. The package comes with some good instructions including recommended heating times based on the wattage of your microwave. For my 1100 watt microwave, it recommended two and a half minutes. That time produced a good heat without being too hot to use. This comes with a storage back that fits the product well. The bag is even foil lined so that if you heat up the neck pad and put it in the bag for transport, it will retain the heat a little longer than if it was just a cloth bag without the foil lining. I thought this was a nice touch. I wore the neck pad for about twenty minutes and it was still warm when I took it off. I'm not a fan of the tiger and rose embroidery on the back (just not my style), but the blue material (or red if you get a red one) is very soft and feels good your skin. This neck pad has a mix of "aromatherapy" herbs in it. When heated, you can definitely smell the various herbs they use in it. I'm not a huge aromatherapy fan, so I found it a little strong. But it is not much stronger than if you burn incense or something like that. It is stronger than the scented candles I burn periodically. Just to be clear, it is not a bad scent. It smells like it is, a mix of various herbs. Just a little strong for me. That strength may decrease a little over time, but I haven't used it long enough to state for sure.

The smell made me sick to my stomach. I don't use it anymore.

I frequently work in the yard and garden, and my neck and shoulders get stiff and sore. I warmed this heating pad in the microwave as directed, and it did a great job of relaxing my muscles. It is a good weight, which helps get the warmth where it needs to go. It fit perfectly around my shoulders and stayed on without even using the snaps, even when walking around the house. The material feels soft, cozy, and luxurious on the skin, and it has a mild herbal smell, mostly of lavender. I don’t see the point of the embroidery - I would prefer it plain - but that does not detract from the usefulness of this product. I like it much better than lightweight heating pads. I can even wrap it around my hip to ease soreness there. I would definitely recommend this heating pad, and will buy some for gifts. It would even be useful to warm you up on a chilly evening.

My wife is using your product. She feels it is soothing; however it is heavy to lift into the microwave and remove. Once on it feels comfortable. It does not stay warm for more than 15 minutes sometimes less

I hate the odor it emits

Soffro di mal di testa da cervicale, ero stanca di imbottirmi di medicine, è arrivato giusto ieri, infatti gia stamattina oltre il male alla testa si sono aggiunti i capogiri, l ho aperto subito, l ho scaldato qualche secondo in meno di come viene consigliato sulle istruzioni e con mi grande sorpresa tiene un calore favoloso, l ho gia scaldato 2 volte, il calore rimane per piu di 30 minuti, non ho preso ancora nessuna medicina finalmente perché mi ha sciolto tantissimo la tensione al collo. Migliorabile da mio punto di vista, aggiungerei qualche altro bottone per stringere un po di piu sul collo per sentirsi piu abbracciati attorno a questo. Non mi ha dato assolutamente fastidio il profumo delle erbe, da come dicevano le altre recensioni sembrava fosse addirittura insopportabile, ma io personalmente non ho accusato nessuno fastidio anzi. Anche pratico, a differenza di quelli elettrici, che ti tocca rimanere ferma con la presa attaccata, con questo puoi fare tutto cio che vuoi. Io ho 3 bimbi, di certo non posso permettermi il lusso di stare stesa in divano. Sono proprio contenta dell acquisto fatto! CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!! Amazon puntuale!

Muy buen producto ayuda mucho a aliviar el dolor

Nachdem mein geliebtes Dinkelkissen in der Mikrowelle in Flammen aufgegangen ist (roch aber prima nach Popcorn), musste was neues her. Da ich viel Fahrrad fahre und danach oft verspannt bin, und meine Wohung auch noch recht kalt ist, greife ich oft zu Wärmekissen. Dieses hier hat mich vor allem wegen der Verschlussmöglichkeit gereizt - so kann ich es auch tragen, wenn ich umherlaufe. Klar - Farbe und Applikationen sind jetzt nicht gerade männlich, aber wer sieht das schon? Überraschend fand ich die Qualität der mitgelieferten isolierten Aufbewahrungstasche - die ist deutlich besser, als erwartet. Kann man glatt als Iso-Tasche mit zu einem Picknick mitnehmen! Die Beschreibung ist auf Englisch, aber die Tabellen und Piktogramme versteht man problemlos. Leistung der Mikrowelle ermitteln, Zeit einstellen, Nackenwärmer wie beschrieben falten und hineinlegen... Das Kissen ist gut durchgewärmt, liegt angenehm hoch am Nacken und sitzt durch die Knöpfe stabil in seiner Position. Ich will es nicht mehr missen! Ein "Mehrwert" des Kissens ist eine sogenannte Aromatherapie... Ich fand diesen Geruch nach Lavendel und anderen Ingredentien zu Anfang etwas massiv und fast störend. Nach einigen Malen in Gebrauch, ist das gute Stück aber neutralisiert - keine Angst! Alles in allem definitiv zu empfehlen! Nicht nur bei Verspannungen, sondern auch, wenn man richtig durchgefroren ist. Einfach genial!

Overrated -too expensive for what it is worth

lo si sta usando da un po di tempo...e' facile da scaldare ed una volta appurato per quanto tempo scaldarlo e' mo0lto facile e veloce da preparare, comodo con la sua chiusura che eventualmente si puo' anche ignorare comunque funziona ed al momento siamo soddisfatti del prodotto..grazie
