I hate to write negative reviews as I know every product ...
First off, I hate to write negative reviews as I know every product and every business has a bad day, however, I had to share this because I don't want anyone else to have this happen to them...I was very excited about the thought of this water bottle, as I travel internationally frequently, and it's often a real pain to find clean water or water that isn't expensive when overseas. I took this on my last trip and I put water in it as we left the airport so that I had something to drink for the next couple of hours. Little did I know that the bottle is not water tight. The ENTIRE contents of the bottle leaked into my backpack and drenched my Kindle Fire and Microsoft Surface. Thank goodness my surface survived (I'm an entrepreneur and work every day, even when on vacation, and 2 weeks without a computer actually would have forced me to cancel my entire trip). The Kindle Fire would not reboot. Also, I got the Fire when it was $200, not the $50 versions they have now.I thought maybe it was user error and I tried the bottle again, made sure I had everything sealed as much as possible and the lid was tight. I had my boyfriend double-check. Just by tilting the bottle slightly, it would leak, so I had to carry the thing around for 2 weeks without using it so that I could return it after I got back for a refund and there were MANY times where I was dying for a water bottle because there simply wasn't always a good place to get water. Plus, I couldn't read for my entire vacation, which I normally do every single day :-(.I got back, sent these details to the seller and not only did I not get any form of an apology, but I got no response whatsoever and it's been WEEKS since I wrote to them! It's one thing to have a lemon of a product, it's another to have the seller of a product not care enough to even respond, especially since it cost me a $200 kindle and could have cost me a $1,400 laptop! What a poor buying decision this was :-(.

I bought this for my upcoming trip to New Zealand ...
I bought this for my upcoming trip to New Zealand. I tried it out the last two weeks to discover it leaves a horrendous taste in the water. Washing it and using it longer did not fix the problem. I've contacted the company about the 100% guarantee and they emailed back stating 'they needed to look into that and would get back to me" which I find a bit bizarre - shouldn't they know the details of their own guarantee? In any case, I'm shipping it back to the company as It's under the 30 day mark and expecting a full refund. I've already purchased a Vapur which I took on my last trip but lost. It will work well :)

Great Water Bottle for Travel!
I've been using this bottle for over a year now and I love it. I travel every week for work and hate spending money on water in airports, but I don't like carrying around a hard bottle. This bottle has stood up to the test of time; probably 40 trips later, it is still in great shape. The bottle collapses to a convenient size that fits in my slim laptop bag. When it is full, I do not store it in the bag as there is no room. Instead, I hang it from the strap hook. It retains its shape well, even when only partly full. It seals perfectly. I have dropped it, folded it, squished it, etc., while full and it hasn't leaked. The top snaps on securely and it hasn't worn down like some snap-top bottles do. The hook failed about a month ago - the bottle was torn right off of my bag. The bottle was fine though so I just bought a new hook (a wiregate carabiner from REI) and attached it with a key chain loop which works great.Someone commented that the bottle makes the water taste bad and I have not experienced that at all. I washed the bottle with a baby bottle brush when I first received it and I wash it about once a week. The water tastes great (I only fill it with water). I've devised one trick that seems to help with a quirk. If the bottle is half full and you tilt it to your mouth to drink, it tends to fold (because it is top heavy). So, put your mouth on the bottle before tilting and blow into the bottle a little bit to fill it up then it works just fine.If I could change one thing about the bottle, I would make the volume a bit bigger - like 20 oz instead 17 oz.

perfect for travel
This guy stands when empty but is soft and floppy and completely foldable for travel. As the water level lowers you can actually scrunch the bottle up to fit mostly in your hand, and the flip top cover is good and tight and protects the mouth. If you want to empty it entirely with the lid on you have to hold it completely upside down or it will fold over on itself and keep the liquid in. It does wobble around a bit more when I carry it on a run than the foldable plastic bottles I had been using, which I loved. But those have begun to crack and delaminate and I worry about leaks and about plastic leaching into my water. With this I have no worries at all. There is a sieve in the mouth of the bottle - not sure what it is for but if you like to filter the pulp from your lemonade this would probably do the job :- ). The lid comes off so the mouthpiece and sieve are easy to clean. It has both a small carabiner for hooking onto things and a stretchy strap for keeping it rolled up. I've ordered the larger size for lengthy air travel.

Great
I think this is about as good as a collapsible water bottle COULD get. I haven't tried any others so can't say for sure. Have only had it a little while, but so far it DOESN'T LEAK - which is the main thing I was worried about. If you're buying this, you should probably know that once you have drank much of it, it won't stand up on it's own really--so if you need a water bottle you can place on a flat surface, probably not the one. But I don't see how that would be possible for a collapsible water bottle. In terms of a water bottle that you take on the go--It's GREAT!! I hate that if I take a regular reusable bottle with me for commuting, even when it's empty, it takes up so much space --and with those glass ones, is so heavy. I was skeptical but so far it's exactly what is promised.
