The Razor HD 4000 is the essential companion for the extreme hunter, archer and shooter. The extremely effective angle compensated laser rangefinder features four targeting modes (Normal Mode, First Mode, Last Mode and Extended Laser Range Mode) for any ranging environment. The primary HCD (Horizontal Component Distance) range mode provides key angle compensated range information required by the vast majority of shooters in a simple, quick to read display. The Razor HD 4000 also has a LOS (Line of Sight) range mode and scan feature.

**Q: Does it have Bluetooth?**
A: No Bluetooth

**Q: Is it waterproof IPX7 rated?**
A: Vortex just states that it is waterproof.  It does not state how waterproof.  I have used one all year in the Wyoming mountains in rain, snow,Ice and dust.  I have not had any problems. 
It actually ranges through falling snow where my Sig rangefinder didn't.

**Q: How far will this realistically range to? I have the vortex 1800 and I am lucky to get it to range past 500 yards.**
A: It will do the 4000 yards, but you will need a tripod to stabilize it for most distances after about 1500 to 2000 yards. That might be the issue with your 1800. Try to put it on a tripod and see if that helps.

A: No.
Takes a one time use battery. 
Easy to replace, and lasts a long time.

Is a little trick to use at first, and the clastic calc is pretty close. For the 308 it was spot on out to 600 yards. But for my 300prc I have doped out to 1k and when I tried doing the true value correction it is off. So I can either be true up to 600 yards or be true from 700 to 1000. But love the fact it ranges far, it is super clear, and can range something and it’ll show you on the map where your ranging. So if you shoot an animal you can bring up on your phone where you ranged and kinda takes the guess work out of where you shot it at. Only thing I’d like to change is if it had an option to where I can manually put in my own data for each yardage
