The little foam roller worked well. The little "paint tray" which is actually just the plastic part of the packaging is a little flimsy. Definitely for light use. This is kind of a one time use, disposable product, but it does the job.

I didn't actually use these for sampling paint; I used them for painting tight spots around oddly placed light switches, and a corner with a window frame entirely too close. Worked perfectly!

These are one time use rollers and tricky to use. Plus there is a piece that sticks out the side of the roller making it difficult to get into close edges.

Great way to apply paint samples to your walls.
