Paul Revere: Boston Patriot (Childhood of Famous Americans)

I read this in my third grade classroom and my students always love it! We always study the actual event along side it since it focuses more on Paul's childhood.

Such a wonderful look into his life. This helped my boys to see history as reality and not just boring facts. They were moved by the lives of our founding fathers.

Good book, my 8 year old likes any of the books in this series, and with the public schools not teaching our children American History yet (my older child is in 6th grade and still hasn't had a class in American History), to me this is filling in a gap left by the public school system. They need to learn about all the patriots that pledged their life, liberty and sacred honor to make our country great!

My kids absolutely love the "Childhood of Famous Americans" series. The are "assigned" reading in our homeschool, but I don't really have to assign them. They pick them up all on their own!

This book made a great Christmas gift for my 9 year old grandson who loves to read about American History

I bought three of these Revolutionary War books for a gift to a school library with the intent that they would be useful during their study of early patriotic Americans. I planned on these books to be read by 2nd and 3rd grade children.
