Having fun with the Opposite Sex without the lies
Really cool ' movie ' the DVD works well and I'm thankful for that, I mean it's really good and I could really see the efforts to get rid of the male chauvinism or whatever the word is that describes how a guy is acting when he thinks and believes that a woman can't and shouldn't manage and improve her own work or sports playing experiences a really cool game like soccer along with constructively handling good and interesting job positions like supervisor assistant supervisor manager assistant manager teacher bus driver and so many other jobs to carefully constructively handle and learn how to treat everyone respectfully. Of course it's a shame for a guy or guys to think he or they can do it all by himself or themselves, so they should certainly be glad and thankful when they see real women that they can not work with but can also have healthy lifestyles and relationships with. I gotta admit it's sad if a woman has to dress like a guy to get the job done, I mean that's shirts dresses skirts sometimes with nice blouses and sweaters. Footwear like heels and boots sometimes flats, lip gloss the cutest and most descent hairstyles and I mean the cute stuff too. Guys know they like it, so they should simply stop being chauvinists give us our clothes back and let us them. A guy's attention is much more fun and easily received by a woman when she doesn't have to dress up like a guy for anything. Great job to Amanda Bynes one of my favorite actresses on executing that role, this is one of my favorite movies, loved the last part of it. Great movie!!

Shakespeare! Seriously.
For some reason, Shakespeare translates very well to modern high school. I think it's the social cliques and emotions running high. I think this is one of the funnier adaptations, along the lines of "10 Things I Hate About You," but with the story line for "Twelfth Night" instead of "Taming of the Shrew."The actors didn't hold back on the comedy, the adaptation is well written, and the story is a classic. I actually think the disguises make more sense than in the original play; where in the original, people actually got the twins mixed up, in this adaptation, no one who knew either of them really well got a good look at Viola when she was being Sebastian. There were lots of nice references back to the original, as well: Duke's speech at the end, the spider "Malvolio," Cesario's pizza place. If you like Shakespeare or teenage romantic comedies OR sports movies, I would recommend this one!

Not a Chick Flick! Males and Females love this the same!
This movie is just hilarious. I went to watch this in theaters when it had just came out with some friends and we all had such a great time because their are so many funny lines to laugh out loud at. Over all this movie relates with guys and girls. And also, this is NOT a chick flick nor is this one of those stupid 'Teen Movies'. It's well written and the acting is great. I seriously could NOT have seen any other person in the staring role than Amanda Bynes - She's hysterical in this film!I cannot find words to describe how surprised I was with this movie!I recommend you to watch this movie if your up for a laugh.*This movie does lean more towards the teen audience but I feel that a parent would enjoy this as well.

Such a funny movie
I wanted to see this movie because I really liked Amanda Bynes in "What a Girl Wants" and I thought she would be good in this role. I was not disappointed. This movie was so funny and Amanda did such a good job. Really, all of the characters were cast really well, and each person fit his/her role perfectly. I first saw this movie on TV and since they kept playing it for several weeks, I kept watching it over and over again. The more I watched it the more I liked it and finally I had to buy it since they stopped showing it on TV! If you are looking for a good laugh you should definitely watch this movie.

Cute!
I doubt this movie will go down in history as a "classic", and the sheer idea of me liking an Amanda Bynes movie is almost embarrassing, as a 24-year-old female, but I just love this movie! I saw it years ago and had forgotten what it was about. I am so glad I bought it because I will certainly watch this again and again. It is a good mixture of cute/sweet and really good humor. The cast, plot, and the mildly sexual humor make this a perfect teen movie, but, as is evident by this review, young adults will like it as well. Just a good, cute watch!

Funny
She's the Man is a high-school-aged romantic comedy (albeit with 20 somethings playing teenagers) starring Amanda Bynes, Laura Ramsey, Channing Tatum, Vinnie Jones, David Cross. Bynes plays Viola, a soccer player at a rival high school whose team is cut. When she is not allowed to try out for the boy's team, she hatches a plan to impersonate her twin brother, Sebastian, at his school, in order to make their soccer team, and beat her school's team. Of course, from there, hilarity ensues. This was Bynes' last major role before she went off the deep end with a multitude of issues in her personal life. She really did a great job in the role, having really good comedic timing, and pulling off the more emotional aspects of the movie. It is definitely not an award-winning movie, but for a romantic comedy set in high school, even an upscale private high school, it is a fun hour and a half, or so. David Cross has a pretty hilarious role as the high school principal, although it is hard not to see Tobias (his character from Arrested Development) in his performance. The extras include deleted scenes, a gag reel, production stills, and a couple of behind the scenes featurettes. Definitely, a good amount of material included. Overall, the movie is fun but definitely does not try to be more than what it is. If you do not expect an academy award winner, it is enjoyable.
