It’s got black mould off the grout between shower tiles very well and that’s a similar porous cement so I’d say yes and give it a shot.

Will this be ok to use around my car's rear light clusters? as i have algae stains around them. pressure washing didn't work.

I don't know your exact answer but all I can say is that I had some unknown black stains on a tee- shirt and an anorak that didn't come off with washing and soaking in Vanish but with this Astonish they came off immediately. It also works well on mildew!!Best of luck
