My little (14 lb), shorthaired dog sleeps on my bed (and sometimes digs in under the covers) so she's gotta be clean! This is an excellent shampoo for her. She doesn't have itchy or problematic skin, but indoor heating in winter has such a drying effect on skin and hair, I wanted to use something moisturizing and not drying that cleansed well. This shampoo leaves her coat clean, soft, and shiny, and has a light, fresh scent; she rarely scratches. She is now 11 years old. it's the second time I've bought this shampoo, and the only one I use. For the rest of her skin care, I put a little olive oil in her food, brush her every about twice a week, and wash only when noticeably dirty, especially during winter when the slush, mud, and oil from the streets are hard to remove just by wiping her down after a walk, which I always do. Although she hates baths, eventually I have to bathe her anyway! I very highly recommend this shampoo.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this shampoo exceeded my expectations. I used it on both my dogs. One with a really thick, long coat and one who has a thinner coat. My hound dog typically has a smell to him and was itching a lot. While my shiba doesn’t really smell, she was itching a lot. After going to the vet to make sure it was a parasite, I began looking for a shampoo to help soothe their skin. Thankfully this shampoo has helped both my dogs so much. The itching is down to a minimum and they smell soooo much better! Both dogs have smooth shiny coats. Their skin looks much better, not pink and irritated anymore. I will be customer of this shampoo for a long time. Thank you for giving me back my healthy and happy dogs.

I adopted a Shih Tzu from a rescue and he had horrible red bumpy itchy skin. The vet gave us antibiotics and prednisone which helped, but the medicated shampoo he recommended made the poor dog itch even more. Read reviews about Itchy Dog shampoo and figured what did I have to lose. It is wonderful!! His skin is almost completely cleared up and I bathehim once a week or more if he starts itching. He hasn't been on meds for about a month and he gets better and better. This makes his coat soft and smells great but most important, it soothes his skin. I am now bringing it to my groomer on his appts. Because it is better than anything I have tried.

Great product was very impressed! I have a 2 year old chocolate Lab she is an inside dog but also swims daily in my pond. Which results in lots of baths which causes dry itchy skin.I have pared this shampoo with "zoom dog itchy dog pills" also purchased off of amazon and work very wellI struggled to find a shampoo that would help with this and for a while I was just bathing her without soap at all. This soap has a pleasant smell and isn't a heavy soap like most dog shampoos are which leave you with a lot of rinsing which results in soap left behind which aggravates the skin causing a hot spot and leaving you with an itchy dog. That being said this also helps soothe the skin and helps your dogs current skin issues along with helping pervent them. This is my regular shampoo now very happy with it.

Used for a rescue we got that had mange. It worked great and was sensitive enough for daily use. Love the fragrance

I used to use Bobbi Panter's Stinky dog shampoo on my service dog who had to be bathed often and LOVED it! it was even very effective when my dog got skunked. My new service dog was having a lot of skin allergies and was on an expensive rx shampoo, but it didn't really clean him well. I was so happy to find this Itchy dog shampoo. It works well soothing his itchy skin while ALSO cleaning his skin and fur. I am very impressed with Bobbi Panter shampoos!

I love this product. I have a 9 year old Pekingese who constantly broke out in bloody rashes and hot spots. We couldn't figure out what it was. We used a dozen or so vet shampoos and special food with no relief. I stumbled upon this shampoo doing some internet research and my babies life will never be the same. After about 2 shampoos all of his hot spots were gone. He occasionally will break out with an itch if he spends a lot of time outside in the grass but I just give him a bath and he has full relief. I can't be happier! I didn't think we would ever find anything to help him. He is 9 yo.

My dog has been non-stop itchy since I rescued him a few years ago. After ruling everything out at the vet, it was decided I just have an exceptionally itchy dog - and owners of itchy dogs know what a pain that can be!This shampoo smells nice, but really didn't alleviate my dog's itching. I had better luck in the past with Resi-cort or Resi-soothe bought from my vet. In the end, my dog ended up getting diagnosed with a disease for which the cure is daily, lifetime doses of Prednisone, which ultimately got rid of the itchies as well!
