The author was a family friend of ours, and one of the most knowledgeable in Bellingham history. This book was a good read and well laid out. My family has one of this series for each place we have lived and keep them As coffee table reads when we have guests stay over.

Lived in Bellingham for 7.5 years and answered many questions about the town. Great book for familiarization.
