Permanent use for PC, etc.
I often refer back to paper/ docs on the side at work. I got this and was very convenient. The material is durable, paper and book hold is good grip, angle is flexible, light weight and sleek design. Ideally for PC (can be left or right side), but can be for others- ref, shelves, etc.

Perfect recipe holder, right where I needed it.
I needed something to hold my recipes up and out of the way while I'm cooking. After spending a little time designing a swing away copy holder out of wood, that would fit on the end of my cabinet, I started looking for clips to go on it and stumbled across this one.For under $10, this was a no brainer. I decided to give it a shot and so far, I'm tickled with the results! It holds my printed recipes, in page protectors, perfectly and folds back out of the way when I'm finished. Can't say I like that it's black and silver on the side of the cabinet, but I knew what it would be when bought it. It could be worse, like... neon pink or something.I'll admit, the wood one I was going to make would have blended into the side of the cabinet and would have been much less noticable, but... On a rare occasion, it's nice just taking the easy way out.As many have stated, it's pretty lightweight so you will want to remember not to use your super strength and start yanking it around or manhandling it. But it does the job I hired it to do, and I'm quite satisfied with that.

Works well - wish it would angle more
This works great in my work monitor however I wish it could curve more inward. Once you put it on your monitor it basically is at the exact same angle of your monitor which is fine but if you have your monitor set up curved at all it doesn’t angle inward. If you have your monitor set at a 0° angle facing you this will also be like that. If you have them angled towards you - say 30°+ it still works but isn’t as effective. This was easy to apply and comes with enough double sided tape to reapply in the future (or if you messed up). The quality is fine and it had no issue holding multiple sheets of paper. I do like the fact it can fold back behind the monitor when not in use.

Works well - keeps clutter off the desk
My ergonomics folks at work said I needed a document holder for typing, etc. I didn't want the clutter on the desk top so this looked great. I cleaned the monitor with an alcohol pad (don't use cleanser). The product comes with a couple of strips of 3M tape (called Command brand) sticky on both sides and a little padded to maybe get over some slightly irregular surfaces. I put this on a LG monitor which is 1/2" thick, but mounted not on the side but on the back (see pics). This allowed for bringing out perpendicular to the monitor and allows for folding back flat against the back of the monitor. I suppose it could mount to any smooth surface, like a kitchen cabinet to hold recipes. The unit is plastic, black with a silver clip. The part that mounts to the monitor is 1" x 3". The clip/arm sticks out ~7.5" from the side of the monitor and is 1.5" wide (and 2.5" wide with the clip + arm. The clip seems to have a surface or nubbins to prevent paper from slipping out , couldn't feel exactly what (once mounted) but two feel plastic and one rubbery in the center of the clip. The seller/manufacture says it will hold 30 pages, but I tested the clip to 40 pages of standard photocopier paper. Pic attached, the spring mechanic is strong and made of metal.Overall pleased with this product. If you found the detailed info and pics informative, please hit the "helpful" button- it would be motivational and provide feedback to do the detailed reviews for this great community.

be very careful with these in use.
the gray spring tension clip that holds the paper sheet in place is too flimsy and broke on one of my document clips.

Perfect!
Just what I needed! The only suggestion is that it shows it being mounted to the back of the monitor. Mine is curved, and I noticed if it is mounted to the front, I can pivot documents closer towards me or even direct them in front of the monitor. The clamp is very secure, the mounting tape is very secure, and it saves desk space compared to other styles of document holders. I would buy it again.

Great Item-just not for me
I do some data entry in my job. I also use a Mac desktop with a large screen. It is sturdy, it holds the paper securely, it is just not for me.The two issues I have found with it are:It holds the papers too securely. lol. I can put a pile of papers to hold in it and it works wonders. But then I need to reach over and use both hands to loosen the clip to pull the top paper I am done with out, because it does not just slide out.The other issue is with a Mac, the monitor is made to move up & down. I find that it moves my monitor down when papers are in it or I need to adjust. It would be fine if you pulled alot of info off each paper, unfortunately the data I pull of the paper consists of 3 boxes, then onto the next, so it gets to be a pain having to reach up, carefully remove the top, then readjust my monitor just to do the little bit on the next page.It is sturdy and a good piece of equipment, it just does not suit my tastes. It would be good for someone who has a lot of data needing to be pulled from a single page, someone with a smaller monitor and probably a PC monitor that is stable and not meant to move.
