OXOTot On-the-Go Feeding Spoon with Travel Case- Green

This spoon is great because it's silicone, the tip is soft, it has the right length handle and it comes with a case.When you're starting out with solids, you'll likely only put a dab of purée on the spoon. To that end it is great, the soft tip is great and the angled curve of the spoon "cup" is great to help scoop the food into the mouth of a baby that still has a bit of the tongue thrust reflex going on. The soft edges help clean up a bit around the mouth.However, as soon as your baby gets better at eating and wants fuller spoonfuls, the spoon becomes less functional. It won't hold a decent amount of purée, and if it's runny at all it'll fall off...not much makes it into baby's mouth at that point and so it's time to move on to another spoon fairly quickly. If the edges were more cupped and not so flat, this would last longer (see picture). Still a good spoon for starting out.

I've had this for two and a half months, and now I can't live without it. This is the only baby spoon I've been able to find that has all the features I want plus a travel case, so I can pop it into the diaper bag. I love the soft silicone tip, the fact that the whole thing is dishwasher safe, including the case, and the fact that additional spoons are sold separately in two-packs, and they all fit in this case. I use it to feed my baby on the go, and then usually wipe the actual spoon down with a water wipe before putting it back in its case. I've never had trouble with caked-on baby food this way when I take it out to wash at home. The only thing I wish was different, is that the spoon's shallow bowl makes it sometimes a little messier to feed your baby. But that might just be user-error. :)

I purchased this on-the-go feeding spoon so that I would have the travel case to protect the spoon when I need to toss and carry for when feedings were outside of our home. Not only do we really like the shape, size and soft texture of the spoon for our little baby's gums, but the travel case was very handy for when we have made (2 so far) trips out of town. I could wash up the spoon and put back into the case and not be concerned that it would get dirty while packed away until next use. I will probably pick up a few more spoons too because we like the shape and size overall of the product.

This OXO Tot on the go spoon is a great addition to my diaper bag! It's nice to have this spoon which comes with its own carry case so I don't have to use one my spoons from the house while I am out and about with my kids. I purchased this spoon for the simple reason of having a spoon for me to keep in the diaper bag while we are on the go since you never know when you might be out longer than expected and need to feed your child while on the go. We have used this spoon several times and are very happy with it so far.

I was needing a spoon that would travel without disappearing into the bottom of the diaper bag and getting overed in crumbs and sand. The reason I bought it with a case was to be able to use it and take it home to wash when the option to clean it wasn't present, without getting baby food all over the diaper bag. My biggest concern was the shape of the spoon. There is a deep part on the spoon and I worried about food getting stuck. The first time I used it I fell in love! It was easy and my 6month old took it very well. I wish I had this for my older two.

I really like the convenience of the case and the grip of the spoon. It's perfect for throwing in the diaper bag or lunch box to feed baby on the go. In general I am a fan of OXO products and this item did not let me down. My only small complaint I have is that the shape of the head causes food to slide back so it can challenging to get a good bite in my little ones mouth.

This is the second baby feeding spoon I've ever used, but I don't think I need to look any further! The handle is a great length (not too short) and the bowl of the spoon is the right width and attached to the handle at the perfect angle for getting food in my baby's mouth. Love how it's availabe with or without travel box. Colors are limited though - green, pink, blue. Wish they made grey!

This spoon is a bit bigger then I expected. My almost four month old is experimenting with first steps baby food and I just think the mouth of the spoon is a bit too big for him. Nevertheless it is a great addition to our diaper bag. Once he gets older I’m sure this thing will be a lifesaver.

I read all the reviews and made the decision to purchase this spoon ready to wean my 5 month old baby (first child). I have to say I'm extremely pleased with the result and don't agree that this isn't a 'soft' spoon. The head is quite small and fits perfectly into a delicate mouth, and the bowl of the spoon isn't too deep so it was easy for her to take the cereal off the spoon. She took to it on the first feed and today (day 3) was opening her mouth and trying to hold the spoon. Based on my experience I couldn't recommend this spoon more. It also comes in a handy box so easy to pack and keep clean. Well done OXO.

The best spoons we have! Initially bought because they come with a case which makes them ideal for packing in a change bag or lunch box as you know they will still be clean by the time you come to use them, and they can be packed away in the case after use so that any food residue is contained inside it. Both the spoon and case wash fine in the dishwasher in the cutlery tray.They are a shallow curve so baby can get all of the food out (some spoons we have are too deep and food gets left in the bottom). The silicone is soft in baby's mouth and the flattened front end and slight give in the texture of the silicone means it works like a spatula letting you scrape up every last mouthful of food from the bowl.I liked it so much I bought two more!

I love these spoons. I was initially attracted to them for the simple reason that they are robust (being made of metal with a plastic handle) but safe to use as they're covered in silicone. They are a good weight to use, and the handle is nice and chunky as well as being quite long. The travel case has proved very useful for feeding my son while out and about - avoiding having to wrap a dirty spoon in a baby wipe! Highly recommended :-)

I have bought and seen (from other mums) many baby spoons and this is the best by far. Many other spoons bend easily, but this ones doesn't as they are made of Mattel inside covered with super soft plastic. The spoon is quite flat making it very easy for the first few months of weaning. The case is super handy, we have bought one with case and a pair without, as we only use the case when out. Highly recommend them.

Great product. Fantastic. I hate the thought of taking a normal feeding spoon and leaving in my bag without being in a separate case or bag. This is perfect. To be honest it’s my favourite spoon to use in the house also, although it was intended to live in my baby bag for out and about feedings. Silicone mouthpiece, sturdy metal/plastic handle. I use this with Elacra Baby Food Storage Containers as I feed my baby home-made purée/ mashed foods and they have never leaked. The two products compliment each other and I’d definitely purchase again if needed.
