These things are HUUUUGE! And the tie string is garbage, it breaks when you havent even pulled on it! NOT TO MENTION THIS IS SUPPOSEDLY A US SELLER BUT THEY SHIP FROM CHINA! After reading other reviews i regret ever touching them or trying to use one because they are supposedly RADIOACTIVE☢😔

These are Radioactive Thorium based, so if you don't want radioactive look elsewhere.If you want hotter/brighter burning Thorium to convert your Kero lantern to run Diesel, these may work.Your conversion success may vary depending on your lantern.The string is weak, so be careful tying them on.The weave looks to be about the same as a Coleman #11.They are the same size when un-burned as a Coleman #11.These put out about 4 mR/Hour for the entire pack of 20.An old Coleman 2 pack of Silk-Lite #20's puts out about 2.5 mR/Hour.The check source on my Ludlum model 14C Geiger counter is 1.4 mR/hour

If you want cheap mantles that are bright, these are good, but they have low shock resistance and will be replaced rather quickly.I like them for testing and times where I may need to change any mantle repeatedly. They are larger than Coleman #21, and can work to increase the light from many lanterns. The larger size is helpful on extremely high flow lanterns such as kerosene and multifuel lanterns. In a pinch, they can be used quite well on Northstar lanterns.

You get what you pay for and when buying this product you get less! The tie strings snap with very little pressure. I can't get them on the lantern.

The mantles are the same size as a number 11 or a number 111 as sold by others. The mantle are for use on a 500cp-600cp lantern. one MUST be careful with the string when placing on the lantern burner. They can also be used on a 250cp lantern Coleman 220, 228, 288, CLX by folding the top of the mantle very carefully. The cost is around 32 cent for a mantle that is a real bargain

This is like a small sock and the light out of it is very dim. Took a long time to arrive as well.
