i/o logitech digital pen
It was easy for me to set up on your computer. It does everything that the company claims it will do. Special paper is not easily found. Wish that the refills were gel instead of ball point pen ink.

I cant install the program on any computer
This software works only on a windows xp or on a windows 2000 what is not for sale any more

Good or Bad, Depending on its intended use
The title pretty much sums it up. I bought the pen because I was tired of spending hours each week typing up my notes (that I took in class). The problem with the pen (why I returned it) is that the handwriting recognition is a DISASTER. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I have the best handwriting in the world, but it takes some serious coding errors to interpret "this is a test" as "~de93, h;02". If you are someone in my position, I would recommend that you snub the IO2 for now and try out some digital scanners (btw, they are much cheaper).

Not cooperating with windows vista/ 7
This product did not cooperate with windows vista or 7 - so its very outdated.

Excellent Design, Great Features, Fun & Practical
The pen is stylish and ergonomic. It is a little bigger than a regular pen but not too big to carry in a shirt pocket. Fits in the hand nicely with a good ergonomic feel. The cradle folds cleverly into a small, compact form and plugs in via USB. Installation on Windows XP was a little problematic. Although it doesn't say that it requires a reboot, it actually took several before the installation completed successfully. Some work is definitely needed to make the install more friendly. The software itself, however is very user friendly. The handwriting recognition works very well without any training.Overall the product is feature rich and represents a new way to capture your thoughts electronically. If you like to write and keep a notebook close by all the time then you will really like this product. The benefit of taking only a notebook with you and not having to take a notebook computer with you all the time is worth it.

Great Idea that I bought a little late.
Great idea, but I found out about and bought a tablet shortly after picking this up. I'd love to see software (or an app) to incorporate the created content into or on my tablet. I still find a use for it now and then and really did like it when it first came out.

Did not work for me
Based on the reviews of this product, I purchased it. Sadly, I have now returned it.The pen simply could not recognize my handwriting. I went through the "training wizard", or whatever it was called, to teach the software to recognize my handwriting. I wrote slowly and carefully and formed all of my letters better than I ever did in grade school. No matter. I was writing in block letters and the pen captured it as really ugly cursive. I guess it couldn't tell when I lifted the pen off the page to make the next character. The software said it could only recognize 48% of my characters. So, I couldn't use any of the conversion software to turn the images into a searchable word, pdf, excel, etc., and what was captured in the IO software itself was extremely difficult to read. Verdict: Useless for me.

Sloppy Printing
This is pretty useful. If my printing were more legible, it would make things a bit easier when I convert to a word document. I use it for conference notes, converting to Word, then splitting the screen to drag and drop the items into our conference note form.
