Good for point of sale development and testing
Using this scanner to developt and test the point of sale software which will soon be released on the production. So far this scanner is doing a great job. Because of this scanner, I figured out a few bugs in my software which are now addressed. Overall it's good for both real-life use and also as part of the software development and testing phases. This scanner was able to scan the slightly broken barcode which is great in terms of stress and load testing of the software.

Works great on 2D barcodes
Needed to test scanning QR codes for a project at work. This scanner out performed the much more expensive models our plants purchased for use on the floor.

Buggy firmware and no way to reset it.
I found that I had the scanner plugged in and scanned a number of items then all of a sudden the scanner crashes and the lights stay on and the trigger does nothing. I then tried the old trope of "Unplug it and plug it in again." But the internal battery was fully charged and kept the scanner in the same crashed state. THERE WAS NO WAY TO RESET IT! So it was useless for the next 2 hours or so until the battery died and finally reset the thing. Too many 'features' and lacking quality firmware.

Does the job well.
Not a bad scanner. It works pretty good. The only thing I don’t like is that it hijacks your keyboard. It acts as a input device so the keyboard is a pain to get back up on iOS.
