Apexi AFC Neo Version 2 The AFC Neo marks the newest edition to the world famous Super AFC line of piggy back fuel controllers. Building upon the powerful AFC Neo, the AFC NEO has taken piggy back style fuel control to a new level. The AFC Neo boasts an incredible 16 points of user definable fuel correction. VTEC control has also been incorporated for Honda/Acura applications. A complete monitor mode is also available to keep the driver/tuner informed of critical engine data, such as RPM, throttle, battery voltage, correction , air flow, pressure (kpa), and karman sensors. The AFC Neo is the industry standard for sub computer fuel control. The AFC Neo is designed to fine tune and "squeeze" power out of existing engine setups by allowing the user to modify the fuel curve with precision accuracy. Since the act of simply bolting on performance products does not make horsepower, the AFC allows the user to calibrate the fuel system in accordance with performance upgrades as they are installed. The AFC modifies the air flow meter/ pressure sensor signal voltage going to the factory ECU (Engine Control Unit) to change the amount of fuel injected. The AFC utilizes a Color FED (Field Emission Display) to display critical data in three different modes. The AFC, while not completely universal, comes pre-programmed with 28 of the most commonly used air flow meter (hotwire type), 21 pressure sensor (map sensor type), 8 air flow meter (flap type) sensor maps. By setting the AFC to one of these programs, the user is able to adjust injected fuel amounts by +/- 50. 8 or 16 user defined RPM adjustment points allow maximum tuning in 500 rpm increments. Fuel can also be adjusted for part and full throttle situations. The Deceleration Air Flow Correction cures erratic idle problems for Hot Wire vehicles equipped with an open atmosphere blow off valve. The AFC can also display

I have to dial in my idle as it's not perfect but my AFR's are good all across the revs
I used this on my IS300 I turbocharged (5 psi with 330cc supra injectors and walbro 255). So far it's working very well, I have to dial in my idle as it's not perfect but my AFR's are good all across the revs. Overall I'm impressed. My ECU is in the engine bay and the wires are really easy to access so I opted to wire it in myself. The install is super easy, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend a plug and play harness if you're mechanically/electronically inclined. It might be awkward for those with ECU's in cramped locations. I have an AEM wideband gauge hooked up, and as you adjust the fuel map on the Neo, the gauge responds instantly.Long term update: I used this reliably for about 1000 miles then upgraded to a standalone ecu. The difference is night and day. Yes this worked for me at low boost, but I can't attest to its longevity or its limitations at higher boost.

Awesome product!
Awesome product!!! Works well with tuning my Mines ECU for my 97 Toyota supra. The Mines ECU is notorious for leaning out the car too much. The AFC helps to add fuel in order to even things out. The graphical display is a tuners dream as one can easily set the timing as well as how much fuel enters the engine at various RPM ranges. Keep in mind though that you should get a professional to install since instructions are in Japanese.

Does what it needs to do on my 1998 GS300 JDM 2JZGTE VVTi
I chose to get this to tune my 1998 GS300 JDM 2JZGTE VVTi single turbo with 4 speed automatic. Does every thing it is suppose to do! Dyno tune with it and made over 420+ ft lbs tq. and getting @ 18-20mpgDelivered earlier than expected. @7-9 wire to wire up. Very easy!
