Riehle's Select Popping Corn - Hulless Baby White Whole Grain Popcorn - 6lb (96oz)

I have bought lots of baby white popcorn in the past, this was not baby white. When the package showed up, I was pleasantly surprised to find it in a thick resealable back, very high quality, but when I opened the package, I realized these were not baby white kernels. When you pop them, they aren't nearly as tender, and an unacceptably large amount of kernels remain unpopped.In the picture, this popcorn is shown on top, compared to Amish Country Baby White that I just received today on the bottom.Do not. buy this

I only eat white popcorn (so much more crunchy, don't you think?) and I only make it in an air popper (a Presto PopLite, currently), and this brand is as good as any other I've had and at a better price.Yes, I wish they sold a medium size kernel, but the baby kernels are fine and, as long as you put in the right amount, work no better or worse in an air popper. What's the right amount? Well, in my case it's to put in a slightly rounded 1/2 cup measure using the cup from the air popper, Yes, if I do less than 1/2 cup, those little baby kernels blow out easy and quick. BUT by putting in a full measure (and a bit more) those little guys weigh enough together that they don't blow out until they start popping. Then it's just butter, salt, yum.I'll be buying this again.

I have popcorn every night and we looking forward to your brand however I was disappointed. The popped corn was rather small and more crunch then white corn. I have an old fashion popcorn popper (actually 63 years old and still going) but your popcorn didn't make the kind I like to eat. Sorry

We use a Whirley Pop a few times a week and normally use a different brand of popping corn. I thought I would go for a more gourmet variety. However, I find a lot of unpopped kernels, and even though I put the same number of scoops in the popper, the final bowl fill is much smaller. I understand it is baby popcorn but I thought I would get the same value of the input to output and that has not happened. The taste is ok but I prefer our other brand. I don't do anything crazy with it, just put in olive oil, sea salt, and cracked pepper. Just not a fan I guess.

I purchased through Amazon and tried different ways of popping and it didnot pop well at all. About or less than half ofkernels popped. I tried in microwave 4different times and on stovetop once and results all were the same. I t pops like it is old old popcorn. Not satisfied at all, especially poor product and price thereof.

I like the white baby popcorn, however this source has a lot of fodder grade corn in it. I have tried all manners of popping this corn and it always has a lot of unpopped grain. I Will go back to my previous choice and not try to save $4 to $5 bucks for 6 pounds. At least 1/4 of it is real expensive chicken feed that won't pop.

I usually buy white kernel popcorn from the store and get the lesser known brand because it pops better and is a much better value. There’s only one local store that carries t his brand, so I decided to try ordering a different kind from amazon.The main problem I has is that the kernels are too small and light to use in a standard air popper. If you make it on the stove top or have an air popper that keeps it in, it would be fine. But I pops out like crazy because it’s way too light. Therefore, it really only pops half to three-fourths of the kernels I put in. The taste and flavor are fine. Just doesn’t pop well in an air popper. Not sure there’s much the company can do about that other than make the consumer aware of the best method or type of air popper to use for their kernels.

This popcorn has great taste, pops most kernels fully with the remainder open and tasty and, the bag is easily and quickly sealed for freshness and storage.
