Five stars ain't enough.
If weight is a problem, avoid this behemoth. The thing weighs over 28 pounds empty, so if you are a weakling when it comes to picking things like this up, go for an all-aluminum, non-tower case. With all my stuff inside, it tips the scale at well over 40 big ones! So, prepare to have hubby or wifey or a friend who owns a Bobcat help you put this thing in its final resting place if you can't do it yourself. That being said, I can't say enough good things about this case. Rosewill has thought of EVERYTHING as far as accommodating the needs of the serious computer geek and his toys. First, there's all that room inside! No more will I have to scrunch my hands into a pretzel in order to plug that fan wire into the appropriate slot on the motherboard AFTER I have that huge CPU cooler in place. Numero two-o, you've got room for a gazillion hard drives . . . well, maybe six or so . . . and about five DVD ROMS (what do you need for of those for, anyhow?). Three-o, there's that window through the motherboard mounting plate that lets you access the back of the board so that you don't have to take the MB out if you are going to remove that CPU cooler hold down gizmo. Four-o, the build quality is excellect it's built like a tank (and weighing about as much as the Sherman-type). Five-o, there's those humongous fans as big as dinner plates that don't need to RPM much 'cause of all the wind they produce just idling . . . which means a definite absence of noise! Six-o, Rosewill gives you all the screws and stand-offs your little heart will ever desire. No need bug your geek buddy about giving you a few 6/40 screws to secure those five DVD ROMS in place, 'cause the manufacturer has already thought of that. Seven-o, forget about plugging all those fans into your motherboard and relying upon it to come up with just the right amount of air to refresh the case . . . because you've got two rheostats controlling up to six fans to come up with the ideal push and pull of wind. Finally, numero eight-o (pardon my Spanish), the cost of this rig; it's ridiculously low for what you get. Hey, Rosewill! If I would have known what I was getting when I plunked down my C-note for this baby, I would have thrown in an extra Benjamin Franklin because that's how good it is. Hyjanks says give it eight stars to equal all of those really good qualities.

Tiny atx motherboard totally covered in big black case
Overall: awesome. Only a few minor complaints. Pros: absolutely massive. Dwarfs my current case. I could probably build two PCs inside it. 3 massive 230mm fans for quiet and effective cooling. Decent quality in parts that count. Tons of space for cable management. Cons: some kind of cheap feeling materials on less important parts. There's a vent in the top that you can open and close with a little slider thing. This sits over a fan so I don't know why you would ever close it or adjust the vent at all from wide open, but if you do, the movement feels cheap and it doesn't close very tight. There are also two dials on the front that control the 230mm case fans. They feel a little cheap and I am concerned about longevity. Also, having dials to control the fan on the outside is kind of tacky (although these dials look sleek). It should be handled by an app. Minor improvement suggestions: 230mm is not a standard fan size. It's hard to find upgraded third party case fans from a reputable brand. It would be better if you could fit two 200mm case fans on the front and top and four on the side. The side panel also seems to have a lot of wasted space that could be used for these fans. There is a big mesh screen with a fan sat right in the middle. If they had holes drilled in each corner, you could mount 4x 200mm fans or like 16 120mm fans. Other thoughts: i got the black version and black with red lights is kind of tired now. White on black never goes out of style though, so the white version of this case is still cool. This case doesn't have a window on the side, it has a mesh with a big fan mounted to it. If you need to show off the inside of your PC this is not the case for you. This is the case for cooling. If anyone is wondering about mounting a corsair CPU water cooler, my h100iv2 is on the top instead of the 230mm fan and it fits fine. Plenty of room to spare. Now what do with a spare fan in a non standard size? I may try mounting this on the side mesh at a diagonal so it fits with the other one thats already there.

Excellent Case
Pros: 1 - Very heavy case with excellent build quality and good design. The vents on top that open seem flimsy, but I haven't had any issues. 2 - Lots of airflow. The case comes with 3 fans with a spot to add a 120/140mm fan on the floor. I was surprised to feel how much air this case moves. The case is also water-cooling ready. 3 - Cable management. There are lots of ways to run cables behind the motherboard and around to reduce clutter. I've always had messy-looking cases, but this one is very clean. 4 - Chassis fan control build into the front panel. Even at max speed, those 240mm fans are relatively quiet. 5 - Front bay management. It's very, very simple to add and remove devices from the front 5.25"/3.5" panel(s). No need to remove the front of the case or use screws for anything (except the 3.5" bay, but that's also engineered to be very simple and user friendly). 6 - I like the hard drive trays. It makes mounting very easy and the orientation makes for easy cable routing. SSDs will also easily mount on the trays with included hardware. Cons/Wishlist: 1 - I would have liked to have an SD card slot in the front panel. 2 - Could use an extra 1/2" of space or so behind the motherboard side wall. I routed my main motherboard power cable back there along with about 15 other cables and I needed to put some muscle into forcing the side wall back on. I'd rather not have to do that. Suggestions: 1 - If you want to run your 12V ATX power cable behind the motherboard, you may need a 6 or 8-inch extender. With a bottom mounted PSU, running a cable behind the wall and all the way to the top is probably not an option without an extension. Overall - Excellent case. My only cons are things that I wish they'd done differently, but they don't warrant me removing a star. This case moves a ton of air at an affordable price.

Why I gave this magnificent tower 4 stars
First of all I love this tower! It was boxed well and when i lifted the box I was immediately pleased with the aesthetics. There is so much room and access for cable runs it is a pleasure to build a PC using this tower. The fans are monsters and push so much air with almost no fan noise. I love the USB and headphones plugs being on top instead of leaning down. The manual fan controls don't do much. I don't notice a remarkable difference when turned down or all the way up. The issue I had was the alignment of the interior base plate in relation to the outer case. The motherboard didn't fit and align with the screws and I had to pull hard on the back plate to allow enough room for mounting screw alignment. There is so much space for additional drives, multiple large gpu's etc. I also like the option to turn your power supply upside down and draw filtered air in from the bottom instead of heated air from the case. There is also a tray at the rear you can pull out to clean the filter. If you are using liquid cooling there are multiple pass through ports. The tower is heavy and it's tall make sure it clears your desk. The only issue I really have that irritates me is that this tower has been sent to another customer that broke some of the pegs that hold the face on and one for the top piece. I could tell it was previously in the hands of another person because none of the cables were secured with the plastic twist ties and the plastic bag they normally put the towers in was missing. AMAZON stop selling used products or allow your vendors to send out used items as new!!!! This is a constant occurrence and I have seen this feedback from other customers as well. One last note: Other customers indicated there were no instructions for the fan controls. This is true and an over sight. Just look at it logically. There are 2 fan controls and there are two power cables requiring connection to the PS. You will also see two sets of fan style connectors marked A & B. These come from the manual fan control and allow 3 fans to be controlled per knob. Only thing different I wish they would have done is have LED lighted fans. This would have made the case look stellar.

Love this case!
I bought this to replace the mid tower my pre-built came in. I wasn't too knowledgeable then on what should go where and my GPU was running very hot in a mid with very little cooling in it. My partner now got me up to speed and so I settled on the Thor V2 because I liked the size, cooling options, aesthetics, etc. It's plenty roomy even with the stock 4 fans (two of which are giant) and the Noctua we have in there. I wanted to keep the liquid cool system I had from the pre-built but it's a 360mm and would not fit, for anyone wondering. However, the Noctua D15 (I think) keeps my Ryzen 9 3950x at a stable 50ishC (it was about 45C with Corsair H150i) and my GPU is no longer running at 85C (avg currently 70-75). I'm still tweaking fan settings to make sure I don't fry the GPU under load, but a 15 degree difference is very nice. The large side fan blows directly at the GPU and helps an absolute ton. I believe the H100i would have fit but I wanted something powerful while not horribly expensive so I settled on the Noctua instead after lots of review searching and thinking. Drive bays and SSDs install super easy. Everything was simple to switch over and was done mostly without fuss. The case is super quiet even with fans at max but still very efficient. Very, very pleased with my purchase!

Big, Beautiful, Cool, & Quiet - Plan Ahead
This is great case for the money. All other reviewers have hit the high points so I will not bore you repeating them. I am an avid user of whole case/component water cooling and was reticent to move away from it. My budget dictated however, a more modest price point for the new build. This case jumped out at me as far as price, specs, and reviews. I am very glad I made the move to air for this build and do not regret it one bit. I have had no heat issues and the case itself is pretty quiet compare to many I've heard; including the radiator mounted fans on my last water system. Post build, the case is very clean and organized which, by the way, makes for more efficient air flow over your components. There is massive room inside with HDD and External Drive Bays a plenty. The few cons I have are the size can make it interesting when routing cables and wires. One must plan to avoid coming up short. The other is the back-plain of the motherboard (where you can route all the wiring) can get a bit stuffed, but a good plan will mitigate any negatives here. Neither of these challenges were enough for me to knock off a rating star. Love this case and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to build a high-end machine.

Exceptional Airflow
Pros; Big Steel frame fells durable The 3 230mm and 1 140mm case fans often have my r9 270 fans off because even when it's at 100%(mining). The manual fans controls are a big pro for me. They also include 6 fan power cables so you can add two more case fans while still using the manual fan controllers. USB 3.0 Can not tell you how good this cases airflow is. 140mm fan mount on bottom between PSU and drive cages, perfect for pushing onto a GPU. Can orientate your PSU either way. Cons; Back of the case was bowed in slightly making me have to push it out to put in my motherboard and GPU. Broke both of the fans controllers 4-pin connectors, pushed one pin each out the back of the connector. Was able to fix though with a pair of pliers. Just be careful and that shouldn't be a problem. Only 3 cable anchors on the back of the case, not enough. I would recommend that BEFORE you put in your Motherboard, AFTER you screw in your Motherboard standoffs, you find two empty holes and put a ziptie through them. this creates a nice little cable anchor. just be careful not to end up cutting that ziptie. Overall, a good case with excellent airflow. Scypt mining with R9 270 with a maxed out overclock with the GPU temp locked a 70c, the GPU fans do not even run and the GPU temp stays a 68c.

Amazing case for the Price
Pros: Price - This case is on the lower end of the Full Tower case prices, but the plastic and steel are definitely not cheap and don't feel like I can easily bend/break it. As such, I'm sure it will last me for years and that I won't have to worry about damaging it. Size - This case has a lot of extra room especially if you have an ATX motherboard so that you can easily fit custom water cooling equipment and pipes in the empty space, which I plan on doing. They also say it fits up to a 330 mm GPU but since mine is nowhere near that yet (I couldn't get the GPU I wanted since my previous case wasn't large enough) I don't know if that holds true or not. I'll update if and when I get a GPU closer to that size. Fans - They give you all the fans you need, but their design allows you to put multiple 12 0mm and 140 mm instead of the provided 230 mm fans. As my computer stays cool under load (CPU has dedicated pre-built water cooling) I see no reason to switch out the huge fans at this time. Also, the 2 fan speed controllers work well, but aren't really necessary with the large fans since they're very quiet at full speed anyways. If I replaced with higher airflow fans the fans speed controllers (2 which can each support 3 fans) would probably be more useful/noticeable. Only gripe in this regard is only 1 provided fan has red LEDs (very very tiny gripe) HDD Mounting - Their metal sliders already include 2.5 SSD mounting slots and hardware so no extra adapter needed which was nice for me. Cable Management - They put ample space behind the motherboard and provide you with cable ties and anchor points for them so if you're really anal you can have everything tied down very cleanly and nicely. Cons: Dust Screens - Only the front and bottom has dust screens of any kind. As I live with animals and in dusty environments at college, this could mean cleaning it out much more often. Fins - They look really cool, but honestly being able to control them is pointless. They should have just made them solid and open but it's pretty minor that they're not. Disk Drive - The tool-less mounting is nice, but their opening is just big enough to fit a disk drive from the front and the screws that they mount their tool-less push button locks scratch the side of the disk drive. Not a big deal but it made getting the drive in harder than it should have been. Final Thoughts: None of the cons were enough for me to knock a star off, but mostly just things you should consider somewhat when comparing it to other cases. As this is not my first Rosewill case or product, I'm extremely happy with the quality and price. Nothing was missing and all the cables were correctly marked so even an inexperienced builder shouldn't have trouble putting components into the case. Also the simple front panel lighting for HDD activity and the lit THOR logo are really cool looking, but not obnoxious or too bright and because of it's name, my computer is now named Thor (seriously she names everything) courtesy of my Fiance. Finally, everything is working great and I absolutely love it.

What a monster!
This thing is a full case. Actually, it makes me wonder if the past three full cases I have were actually full cases. It actually dwarfs them. Not only that, it's physically lighter than they are and the materials are actually quite solid in my case. The red lights included aren't bad and the fan controllers and LED layout is clean and neat. The top vent actually has a slide-lock which is neat as well. The only issue I have with the case is how it's light. I live in a place where my cat treats whatever I own like a stepstool, and it's definitely not as solid of a stepstool for the cat. She doesn't seem to manage to press the large power button near the front, and it requires more pressure than I think she can exert anyways. I also keep the case bound between my desk and a cabinet so it isnt rocking too much and the air can still get in. The airflow in the case itself as is is fantastic, and you have room to slot in a couple more fans if you want to go over-max on cooling. I enjoy the case.

Sturdy, Large, and In Charge!
Absolutely HEFTY. But this case has SO MUCH room on the inside, the siding is super easy to take off if you need to make any adjustments, has a beautiful blue glow, is incredibly affordable, and does everything you need it to do. I haven’t been able to rig it so that the fan controls work (I used this case for my first PC, so I had little experience in it) but I’m sure if you know what you’re doing, it’s super easy.

Lots of space, not enough room, garbage included.
Beautiful case, lots of space, 1080 ti didn't fit because of distended back-end, took 8 hours to find the issue and i had to bend my case with a wrench, also my 1200$ gpu is affixed with a zip tie. Will probably drill new screw hole and cut/bend the case into usability at some point. Also the dust blockers keep falling off, really makes the case look shoddy
