Flawless large storage
I used these discs multiple times for large amounts of data ARCHIVE storage. I have experienced ZERO flaws or errors. I use Nehalem Mac Pro's (2009 to 2012) running OSX 10.5 to 10.11 with Roxio Toast. My optical drive is Pioneer BDR 2209. Not one problem. Numbskulls may continue using hard drives and flash drives until they fail. They ALL will. These will not fail in your lifetime if PROPERLY CARED FOR. (your optical drive and computer will fail first) ALL of the Cd's I bought in 1982 are still working PERFECTLY. Not one of my computers or hard drives or flash drives is still working "Perfectly". Yes.... I have experienced multiple flash drive failures within a period of 10 years. (they are warranted for 3-5 years for a reason)

Great, but my writing software wont read 100gb bd-r
Great sized bd-r but most bluray writing software doesn't recognize the 100gb bd-r, the highest leowo recognizes is 50gb bd-r and leowo is one of the best bluray writing softwares i've used.

BD-XL is nice
Works like expected. Being able to write 100 GB of data is very nice. Jump drives are getting there, but for now this is a cheaper route in the long run.

Discs fine but all cases arrived cracked.
I bought 4 of these. Discs seem fine, however each of the jewel cases arrived with a crack in them. Freakin amazing when one considers the level of packaging given to items that are pretty difficult to break, then only a snug fitting bubble wrap packet for these. Someone needs their head examined when it comes to the packing.

100Gb on a disc is of course nearer to ninety gig or so, but these discs are entirely compatible for data on appropriate drives. Note: you cannot record video for playback on these, primarily because your BR player plugged into your TV cannot read the lower layers on these. Data only I'm afraid.
