It’s a belt. It has a terrible chemical smell. The end of the belt is a little hard to get through the d-ring side. I wouldn’t buy another from this company.

I’ve been wearing one of the Gelante D Ring belts for more than a week and am very pleased with my purchase. The fabric is stiff, which helps the belt stay cinched tight. The stitching around the D rings is solid and the metal tip has held tight.I ordered a L/XL. The belt measures 50” from the outer edge of the rings to the tip of the belt. As other people have noted, the rings are barely wider than the belt itself. If you slide the metal tip through the widest part of the ring, the belt can be fastened and unfastened without a problem.All in all, it’s a sturdy belt with good size and color choices at a great price. I’m getting one in another color!

This belt goes on easy, but you can’t be in a hurry to take it off. The metal strip on the end gets stuck in the D-rings every single time. I mean, you can’t beat the price, but just make sure you can “hold it” or you will be in trouble when trying taking this off! The super cheap price bumped this star rating up from 2 to 3. I would not buy this again.

I had bought a web belt with a d ring buckle from Amazon before and liked it a lot. Went on to get some in different colors and chose one of these. It's completely different. The end tab is a little too wide for the buckle, so you have to turn it to get it though, and it's so hard and stiff, the whole belt slides around your waist instead of cinching. Stupid. Had to pay return shipping, but I'd rather get a $3 credit back than keep it.

The metal tang at the end of the belt has sharp edges and is almost to large to pass through the D rings. It has to lay flat against the belt to be able to pass through.

I figured a 41" long total belt would be good for me, as 36" pants/shorts basically are falling off my @$$ now and 34" pants/shorts are a bit tight, to wear. Thought these belts would do the trick, being 41" long?NO way, what a B!t9h to fasten and MORE SO, unfasten the belts!!!!!! Holy S#!T, it is miserable.Buy the longer belt(s) and shorten it yourself, put the silver clamp end back on and be comfortable!I'm telling you, do this! Same price for the longer belts. If you are in same situation that 36s are too big and 34s barely working, buy larger belts!I like the belt. Does NOT fit a 35" to 34+" waste.
