High quality!
The media could not be loaded. These are just as good quality as my other Knipex tools. I'm slowly accumulating a collection of high-quality hand tools for DIY projects around my house. There's just something nice about using high-end tools. I was stuck trying to decide between these and the 2000 series Klein linesman pliers. I watched a lot of videos and read forum posts about the two. It seems like a lot of people prefer Klein over these, but there's some people who prefer these over Klein. On Amazon, the Klein 2000's are actually more expensive. I think the 2000's, which have a harder steel than the 213's, are around $60. I'm not an electrician, so these will be fine for occasionally doing some electrical work around my house. I wish these had a crimper, which you can get, but they're too expensive for what I'll be doing with them. I have a separate crimper if needed. These come broken in right out of the box. They're super smooth and cut 14/2 and 12/2 Romex like butter. I had a cheap pair of Do It Best linesman pliers from the local hardware store. There's a night and day difference between the way they cut wire. Be aware that these do come in retail plastic packaging, not a box. That's what the SBA means at the end of the model number. It doesn't matter to me what packaging they came in as long as they're legit, and these are.

High quality where it counts, easily compare to USA klein 2000
Fit and finish in terms of performance were perfect.Rivet joint has zero play but opens and closes easily and smooth as butter (tight and loose all at the same time - VERY good manufacturing!).Cutters are sharp, well hardened/tempered, line up perfectly, and cut clean with a snap that good pliers provide.Jaws line up parallel and do not touch (NEW ENGLAND NE STYLE PLIER JAWS ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A SMALL GAP TO KEEP FROM CRUSHING SOFT ELECTRICAL METALS).Knurling is nice and aggressive, and very well hardened/tempered.Fish tape puller works well and like all working surfaces, mate up perfectly.Handles are just soft enough to absorb snap and be forgiving when used for extended periods of time.At the time of purchase the knipex were 40% cheaper than 2000 series kleins.Item arrived quickly, as described, and in perfect condition. Appears to be 100% genuine K'nipex.

Finally... I can reach in a j-box and tighten the connector lock rings.More practical than any lock ring wrenches...

Amazing linemans. I was rather disappointed with my Klein ...
Amazing linemans. I was rather disappointed with my Klein d2000s and decided to find something that would replace them. I worked hard on breaking in the Kleins, and they worked well for a while. But the cutting edge dented when fairly new, and now the joint is so wobbly the cutting edges do not line up and the Jaws of the pliers touch. And they're only 3.5 years old! I've heard of knipex quality, and when I pulled them out of the envelope they fell open, no break in required. The Jaws grip like nothing else (great for tightening and twisting off cable ties) and the cutters go through copper with almost no effort at all. Lighter and less tiring to handle than Kleins (great for us with carpal tunnel) and they just feel better in the hand. I have basically started getting rid of almost all Klein tools in my bag because there are just better alternatives out there, like these pliers!

Forget klein. The Germans know how to make things.
For those who are over Klein, these side Cutters are fantastic. I tried to make an exchange with a broken tool with Klein and because I didn't have my receipt from 2 years ago, they turned me down on the website. Just wanted to let everyone know that cuz I told them I would.
