Knipex 09 08 240 US 9.5-Inch Insulated Ultra-High Leverage Lineman's Pliers

Well made Knipex pliers however there is a surprisingly large gap between the gripping jaws on mine once the cutting edges have closed together tightly - unlike my other Knipex pliers which seem to have much tighter tolerances.Shouldn't be a problem for nearly all grasping purposes (unless you wanted to grab and pull something that is very thin) but I know that they can do better than this as I have another pair of Knipex pliers that has all edges closing together snug - so only 4 stars in this case.

I do not like buying something without the original packaging.

I have this to be the second Knipex Lineman . First I have Lineman 2component handle with crimper.Both do not make disappointed. The weight and handle are comfortably perfect. The cutter is very sturdy and sharp. Finishing quality is so higher than other brand from same Europe region such as Stahlwille, Wiha .. and much more above than brand from USA

Professional electrician with 30+ years in the trade. These are the best lineman's pliers on the market. Better than Klein or Ideal and those are both really great!

9yr journeyman electrician now and Klein tools is a big name when it comes to lineman pliers but the Germans and the knipex lineman's have no competition pure excellence and comfort

Very happy as always when I buy knipex tools. They are well made

The fit and finish could be a little better. The cutting jaws don't line up perfectly like previous ones ive had. The jaws are already starting to wear after just a month of use.Now the pliers are starting to get stuck shut after cutting wire.
