Nothing Short of a Miracle - Really! Amazing Stuff - and I Don't Use That Word Lightly!
Folks, I am not the kind of person that shouts from the rooftops when I've found something great. Having said that, if I was that kind of person, I would be shouting from every rooftop I could find, because this supplement has made an unbelievable change in my life. I have been suffering from extreme anxiety, depression, fatigue, muscle aches and pains - it was BAD. I read about magnesium glycinate being a possible solution for mood problems, so I ordered this supplement. I took one tablet on Wednesday night, and when I woke up I felt literally like a different person. My "internal shakes" were gone, and so was my anxiety, for the most part. I immediately decided this could not be possible from one pill, but I have been taking one tablet in the morning and one at night since 3/29, and my life has gotten SO much better. I've done some research on magnesium deficiency since then, and evidently it's a "silent epidemic" in America, mainly due to diet/food supply. Whatever. I am just so very pleased at how much better I feel - and my new attitude towards life! - that I would say that I recommend this supplement to anyone, especially if you have anxiety. I was on Klonopin for it, and it wasn't helping much at all. I have basically quit taking my Klonopin (am tapering down), and I am hoping I don't need it any more. Please, do yourself a favor and get some of these magnesium supplements. You WILL feel better, I promise. I have also read that using magnesium flakes in a foot bath or skin spray, or magnesium oil, is also an excellent way to get this mineral. These are all available on Amazon as well. I plan on looking for some magnesium oil to send to my mom as soon as I get done with this review. You NEED THIS SUPPLEMENT! And no, I didn't get any free product and/or discount for my review. Just a newly rejuvenated outlook on life - and at 64 years of age, I'll take it!

Multiple Benefits! I'm in Love!
Love, love, LOVE this! I have terrible anxiety and panic disorder. And I've done so much research on how to fight it naturally. Well I read a lot about how a deficiency in Vitamin D can increase anxiety (I fit all the symptoms from lacking it). So I started taking 5,000 IU softgels of vitamin D per day. And it was helping, but then I read that Vitamin D needs extra magnesium in your body to function/work effectively. So I started looking more into Magnesium, and saw that Magnesium deficiency can also cause anxiousness. And that 75% of the population has a magnesium deficiency without even realizing it! So I did all my research on different types of Magnesium and found this gem. It was suggested to be the best form to try specifically for anxiety. I have been living in a hellhole of a nightmare with my panic disorder so I was willing to try just about anything. This is the first Magnesium supplement I researched, read the reviews was sold on it instantly. Gave it a go, and I am 100% convinced that this is helping. Not only with my anxiety and helping my Vitamin D work better, but it also helps me sleep (which I am a chronic Insomniac btw). I take two of these at night, so the full 400mg dose. *I also pair it with one 200mg capsule of L-Theanine, the perfect stack to help sleep and take the edge of your nerves.* It takes roughly about an hour before I start to feel the slight calming effects. Even on nights it still takes me hours to fall asleep, when eventually I do, I pretty stay asleep now. I don't have as many dreams, or wake up multiple times in the night. I don't feel groggy at all when I wake up, and I actually feel refreshed. My body definitely needed this. And I most likely won't ever come off of it. I stay calm pretty much throughout the day now. Almost never does it boil over into a panic attack, even when I feel anxiety coming on. So grateful it's helped a bit. I highly recommend trying it!!

Great for anxiety and sleep trouble, gentle on stomach.
Love this Magnesium!! I was looking for a brand/ delivery mechanism that didnโt bother my stomach but helped with anxiety and sleep. I take one pill at dinner around 6pm by 11pm I am able to relax, falling asleep quickly and staying asleep. I wake up refreshed not groggy. On the days I donโt work I take a pill at lunch, I find it helps me be able to relax easier. I did accidentally take 2 pills at dinner before, I didnโt think I took it so I took another. Well by 10pm it was like I took a sleeping pill!, knocked me out! Not a bad thing necessarily. Research magnesiums and you will see Mag glycinate is an easy to absorb form that is really helpful for those who struggle with anxiety and sleep trouble. KAL is a consistent, high quality, affordable brand.

The glycinate form is one of the best magnesium supplements
I've tried other kinds with varying experiences from so-so (magnesium aspartate and citrate) to...er....explosive (magnesium oxide. DO NOT TAKE THIS if you have a sensitive stomach or are prone to diarrhea!). When I take 200 mg of magnesium glycinate at bedtime it causes a pleasant sleepy feeling with no stomach issues. I wouldn't recommend taking it during the day unless you're feeling very stressed and/or are magnesium-deficient. Note that one tablet is 200 mg, not 400 mg. The tablet is big but easy to swallow. However it would warrant a five-star review if it came in capsule form.

Highly Recommended for Sleep Issues
Kal magnesium glycinate has been literally miraculous for me as a sleep aid. This product is outstanding -- we are on our second bottle, and two more are on the way. My issue was that I could easily fall asleep, but often woke in the middle of the night and was awake for hours, tossing and turning. Magnesium has solved that problem, with amazing success. I usually take 200mg at bedtime, and then if I happen to wake up in the night (which is rare when I take magnesium), I take another 200mg and I'm asleep again in a few minutes. On stressful days, I take 400mg at bedtime and always sleep through the night. I have experienced no side effects and zero downsides -- the pills are big, but that's true of all minerals. My girlfriend did have a little bit of stomach upset at first, but it went away as she kept taking it. Several people in my life have mentioned having trouble sleeping, and I tell everyone about this product. A friend of ours was prescribed Ambien and also taking Benadryl and still couldn't sleep well. She bought some magnesium, and it has helped more than the drugs. I am astonished that doctors don't use this as their first recommendation for patients with insomnia. Plus, apparently nearly all Americans are deficient in magnesium. I haven't tried any other brand, but Kal has surpassed my expectations, so I see no need to experiment. If you have trouble sleeping, I highly, highly recommend trying this product.

This is the only stuff that works!
I have been using this brand for the past few years...because it is the BEST. I have tried many others but this is the best bang for your buck. Plus it does what it's supposed to do. I control my high blood pressure with this stuff...have for many years, since 1998. haha and I'm not dead yet! Doctor told me my blood pressure was so high that if I went off of his meds I'd be dead within a month or two. Went to another doc and this one supported me in using this. All I can say is that it works! It works on more than just high BP, so just get online and google it, check out what else this miracle mineral can do for you. And NO...I am not affiliated with this product or the seller in any way...only thing is, I just want other folks to learn how to help themselves instead of relying on side effect chemical meds. I'm not a doctor, just a person that thinks for themselves and makes my own decisions! P.S. I take two 200mg pills in the a.m. and two more in the evening with a meal. So yes, I take 800mg a day and feel like I did when I was young...and I am 65 yrs old. Tooting my own horn? NO, just letting people know that it is possible to think and do for yourself.

Easy on digestive system!
I wanted to take a magnesium supplement for general health purposes, and I bought a basic cheap magnesium tablet from the drug store only to discover after a week or two that I couldn't take because it had too strong a laxative effect for me (even when I reduced the amount I was taking to 200 mg a day). After reading that magnesium glycinate is more easily absorbed and less likely to cause loose stools, I decided to buy this supplement. I've now been taking it for about a month - starting at 200 mg and recently increasing to 400 mg - and have had no digestive problems with it. If you've had trouble tolerating other magnesium supplements, this one is definitely worth a try!

Good product
I was recommended this brand. I was skeptical at first, But i can say it's helped in so many ways. Sleep better, RLS, pain, and not to mention bowel issues that come with meds. It's amazing how much your body needs magnesium.. the pills are capsule shaped And while alittle on the big side, easy to swallow. No after taste like some. IMHO..... I would suggest Omega 3 to go with it.. but I'm very happy and would recommend it to anyone else.
