Nice Size capacity and Works Great!
I am really happy with this. I like to ride my bike to work everyday and I go out through the garage. I used to have to keep the garage door remote in my bag when riding (a sports bag). However, it got old having to fish it out (especially when your hands are cold and you got on gloves) and open the garage or (even worse) getting ready to go and the bag hits the bike saddle and the garage starts opening again... I looked at getting the remote garage door openers that have a code and go on the wall, but they were expensive. So I got this! This was pretty cheap (about $20) and worked perfectly. I first got the MasterLock one that is similar, I was hoping it would work since it had a spin combination that required the combination to be entered in sequence, but it had such a large locking mechanism that it would not hold the garage door opener (would not even hold a car key). So I got this, it was my second choice, but it is super nice! This is solid metal and feels solid when you are holding it, it is also pretty heavy. The inside dimensions are a nice size and I can easily fit an emergency house key the garage door opener and have some room for a few other keys. It is pretty easy to setup, I did have to read the instructions and would not have figured it out otherwise, you have to use the little plastic key thing to unlock the numbers that are allowed to be entered to unlock it. You can enter more than 4 numbers but for security you should stick to 4. Once I had it setup I used the included screws to mount it to the wall. The screws did the job, they were a little soft, but I put a starter hole (in thick wood) with a drill bit and they went in and a little force got them all the way in. The unit feels secure on the wall! The unit is mechanical, so it just requires the 4 numbers to be entered in any order (it essentially locks them down until the reset is hit or the open is pushed down), so you would not want to use more than 4 or it would be easier for someone to guess the numbers. The unit does lock as soon as the unlock piece is released, so you either have to hold it while you have it open, or just put the code in again when you get ready to close it (this is what I do). I do have the unit under the garage edge but it still gets wet. I have not had any issue with water in the unit or humidity. The thing is not waterproof so heavy rain could wind up getting inside. Where I live it hardly rains and when it does it is a mist or light rain, so this was not an issue. This thing is very sturdy and feels secure so I think anyone who attempted to get it in would have a hard time (with the right tools you can get into anything), but the normal thief will not be able to get into this, so I am happy with it. Plus the issue of the combo guessing it not too much of a concern, since it would take them a while to guess it (luck) and hopefully someone would question why some random person is behind my garage; truthfully, if someone wanted to get in, it would be best to just pry it off the wall and take it with them to drill open. However, I do not see that happening, and again someone would hopefully question why someone is prying something off my garage. In the end this does the job and worked exactly as I wanted it to. If security is your primary concern, this is not the best option, but really, nothing in this category would be. This is secure and can hold a lot more than the competitors!!! I am happy with this and this makes my life much easier (plus it holds an emergency key if we get locked out, much better than hiding it under the mat!).

LARGE ROOMY INTERIOR LOCKBOX
I have several Supra Product Lockboxes - and my main complaint with them is they are so tiny inside that only a small key or 2 small keys will fit - and you have to be very careful about how you place keys inside - as they can jam the lid requiring it to be drilled off. Don't get me wrong - I actually love the Supra product - as they are nearly indestructible. I have had numerous boxes - always outside - in the elements (some for 20 years or more) and NEVER had one not open - other than being jammed inside by ill fitting keys. If I only need to store one key - I will continue to buy that style - because it is dependable. These days - we have gate openers, key cards - multiple keys for owner storage and so on. I have been looking around for a bigger key box -that I can use for housekeeping staff. I found this one. IT IS HUGE -has a plastic outer cover that appears solid enough to protect it from rain, salt air (snow) etc. At the top inside there is a small U shaped hook - so you can attach a reel style fob .. or just a round key chain and hang the keys inside. There is room for LOTS of keys - garage opener - etc. I measured the inside dimensions and it is just under 4" tall - and just under 2" deep - One review I read said it was a flimsy plastic cover - NOPE it is a very heavy metal case - surrounded by plastic to help shield it from weather. With the cover closed - mounted on your wood door or frame - or post - it will stick out 2.5 inches. The screw holes (4 pattern) are big - and the screws it will take are hefty too. It ships with no code input - and the case is unlocked. It did not ship with instructions for setting the code - however those were available at Amazon.com on the product site - as a PDF - It took less than 3 minutes to set up a new code - super simple. There are more choices than the average lockbox - including alphabet like a telephone pad - and the * symbol too. That means you can set up a word code - or a numeric code - and make it a bit more complex. Because it is SO easy to change the code - you could easily do it for each new guest. and if you rent out a mother in law unit - or some other AirBNB style accommodation - you can do self check in very easily.

Lock box
The lock box itself is well made, box is bent aluminum and the door is a molded metal. The cover on the other hand is a thin plastic that feels like it is about to fall off and I have not even mounted the box. I checked the manufacturers website, they say the cover is removable. They don't say that all you have to do is give it to a 6 month old child and they will have it broke off in no time! I also found they had a live chat and I used it for this item. I was and still am concerned about the fact you can set the combination to say 1234, but all someone has to do is hit those numbers in any order and it will open, IE: 4321 will work. The customer assistant was polite and quite quick to answer that this is normal for all combination lock boxes on the market. Either this gets asked quite often or he really knows the products...???

great
great... easy to set up, just followed instructions... even went to website foe easier set up instructions 1. On front of KeyGuard Pro between 0 and * key there is a clear button. KeyGuard Pro does not come preset to any combination. For best security choose a combination between 4 and 7 numbers and/or letters. 2. The first time you set combination, press clear button down and release to clear combination and then push down on open tab. The KeyGuard will open, exposing back of faceplate. There are 11 yellow buttons with arrows pointing up towards top of KeyGuard Pro. Below arrows there are corresponding numbers to front of door. If using a lettered combination, now find corresponding numbers. 3. At the bottom of the faceplate back (see image on reverse side) there is a white plastic “key” to change combination on the KeyGuard Pro. A small screwdriver can be used as well. With this key, push in the desired button and turn 180 degrees. The arrow on the button should now be pointing down towards base of KeyGuard Pro. This will be done for each letter and/or number in desired combination. 4. Double check combination to make sure it is set properly. Remember each button that is activated with the arrow pointing downwards represents part of combination. 5. Test combination before closing face of KeyGuard Pro. Press clear key, select the combination and pull down open tab to open. If tab pulls down combination is set correctly. If it does not pull down, DO NOT CLOSE THE COVER. Check arrows again to make sure the correct ones are activated 6. To use your key box, press clear each time it is used. Then enter in the combination and pull down on the open tab. 7. To close KeyGuard Pro, put in combination and pull down open tab. Close front face and release open tab. KeyGuard should now be secured in the locked position. 8. The shackle can only be released when lockbox is open. To release shackle push shackle release tab (see image) to right. Shackle is secured automatically when closing shackle. 9. The KeyGuard Pro offers ability to use an optional, small !” wide padlock that can be placed through the loop on release tab. This option, if desired, prevents others from removing lock box once key door is open.

Simple, strong, economical!
Previously purchased a "Lockin" Bluetooth enabled lock box that promptly stopped working - with the keys locked inside. So, we picked this 'old school' box to replace it. This thing is solid and simple to use. Push button combination is easy to set. It's a little clunky to close because you have to punch in the combination to close it but it has lots of room and would take a while to break into (unlike the fancy "Lockin" box that took less than 5 minutes to open with a Dremel tool).

Works great!
This was a great alternative to "hiding" a key in the back yard. We originally hid a key in the flower pot, but my 12 year old would never hide the key again and left it out for anyone to find. This keeps it locked up safe if they ever need it, or for neighbors to house sit, etc. No latch problems for us, and it feels very secure. I like that it has the extra door covering up the punch keys. One thing to note is if you have the same digit twice in your pin code it only recognizes the first time it's pushed. For example, if your code is 2-1-2-5, you'd only have to push 2-1-5 to get it to open. Once you let go of the latch after opening it, you have to enter the pin code again to get the latch down once more to close it. (Or you can hold the latch down while you remove the key and close the box back up) Happy with my purchase.

It is Safe and Convenient and very helpful to have.
I have this item fixed somewhere that no one would know what it is. Have locked myself out of my house, and this was a lifesaver, because I had no way of calling anyone to come and help. Absolutely great item.

Recomendo. 👍

Good solid product and good source.
Just right - price, delivery time, and simplicity of installation. For sure saves us some complications in dealing with keys and security in the rental accomodation. Worth every penny and would work at home as well (versus the 'key under the rock' for the guests...)
