It is a battery. It holds a reserve electricity supply as is expected.
This was used to replace a 100% dead 8 year old battery. It works as well as expected. It provided the power needed for a respectable amount of time. I have no complaints. I expect this battery will continue to be dependable as it is still holding up well almost a year after it was purchased. For the price I would buy this battery again. These batteries are supposed to have a life expectancy of 3-5 years which I hope to surpass. When this battery has to be replaced it will have been replaced at a very reasonable yearly expense.The only issue to be aware of is look at your leads. Are the positive and negative on the correct sides of the battery? Are the terminals the small or large ones that you need? Although a smaller battery slip on connector will work to provide electricity while using a larger connector cable the larger connector cost the same money so buy the correct battery.

can tell better in five years
this is a backup battery, only needed when I have a power loss. It is guaranteed for five years and the last one worked for close to eight years. What can I say? I only bought the battery a month ago. I am assuming this one will work for at least seven or eight years. Check back with me in five years and I will know more.

Great Price! The one the manufacturer recommended was nearly $30.
It is hard to give this a rating yet. The one that came with the fencer lasted over four years, not this brand. I have only had it in use for 1 month, and seems to be working great so far. I will let you know more in three years and 11 months. But I don't think you can go wrong for the price and free shipping!
