Giving a fair review to green coffee can be difficult. It requires expertise and top-tier equipment to get the best from a bean, and I have neither. However, one roast in and so far so good. I roasted 12 oz in my Behmor roaster to Full City+ level and have been using it to make espresso for 16 oz lattes. The flavor is full, rich, and rewarding... although the aftertaste in my first batch is just a little more tannic than ideal. I may be able to improve on that in future roasts, or by adjusting brewing parameters. I have made better coffee at home than this, but only from pre-roasted beans costing over $20 per 1lb, not from my own roasts. These beans are at least as good as anything I have tried from other companies such as Sweet Maria's, but at the time of writing they quite a bit cheaper at under $6 per 1 lb. Given the great results this coffee delivered on first attempt, and given the good value it represents, it's only fair to give it 5 stars.
