Loving this book.
This book has been so much fun for me, I just thought it would be interesting to learn about Braille and this book has made it so easy. I would really recommend it to anyone who is thinking about learning Braille. It has tons of fun activities and little tips and tricks. Fantastic beginners book. It would be nice if the embossing on the back cover was actually more to scale but if I use my pinky finger it is easier.

Easy and fun!
I am learning Braille in order to help my grandson with schoolwork. This book breaks down Braille In easy segments. The puzzles and exercises are fun. What a great way to learn

Very Good Primer
A very good introductory book to Braille communications. It's exercises are rather child-like, but then that's how we all started who read English. Wish the dots were actually raised, instead of just printed, but you can recognize the logic of Braille communication and practice simple reading and composing using the included exercises. I want to move on to actually feeling the characters, since that is what I would have to do if I had no sight.

Cute learning book.
This book is great for first time learners in Braille as a visual person this book is great. It has many different games and learning activities such as work search and fill in the blanks to help learn and remember Braille. I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone who is first learning Braille. It doesn't have actual braille in the book except for like the cover but its great to get you started.

Serves a purpose, but no raised dots to actually learn to read Braille
I know this book says Braille for the Sighted. However, I thought that one would be reading the visible letters as one felt the dots. That would be a real learning experience of Braille. But there are no raised dots in this book except on the back page.So all of the "learning activities" are simply LOOKING at the dots in a pattern. There is no actual experience of feeling the raised to experience, practice and actually learn the language.I was extremely disappointed in this book. I don't think the description makes it clear what it really is.If you want to learn ABOUT Braille, at a simplistic level, this book will serve your purpose. However, if you want to actually learn to read Braille, buy a different book.I will.

Useful beginner’s book for children
This is a clear and useful book, but I am fairly annoyed that the description didn’t make it clear I was buying a 20-page activity book for elementary schoolers. Amazon is certainly making a revival of “let the buyer beware.”

really? who would want to... explore braille that has no texture at all?
Guess I should have checked the other reviews first.A braille puzzle book is a great Idea, but this book is not brailled... That is, there is no texture to the dots. So you can't use it as an introduction for a sighted person to braille in any practical sense. You can't use it with your fingers, ONLY your eyes. How pointless is that?

Loved it!
A very simple book to learn Braille. $20.00 cheaper than what it costs at the Braille institute but it doesn't come with the plate to write in Braille. I still had a fun time learning from it. I can now write my name in Braille and I'm working my way up into writing mathematical equations.
