My sister n wanted to try them and they didn’t disappoint

I absolutely LOVE these Dracula candies! They aren't for the faint of heart, or the casual black licorice eater, that is for sure. I'm from Iceland and pretty much grew up eating these! I couldn't be happier having found such a great seller of this on Amazon! They are such nice people. I thought my most recent order had gotten lost (I'm becoming a more frequent buyer) and they were very accommodating and sent me another shipment. It can take awhile to get the candy because it ships from Finland, but it's completely worth the wait. If you are wondering what these taste like, it is salty salmiak (black licorice salted with ammonium chloride). If you don't like it, feel free to send it my way!! LOL. Been trying out different salmiakki candies and while this one has some of that sinus-assaulting ammonia fix I’m after, it’s singly too mild & short-lived. Then again, if you mindlessly gobble most of a bag while drafting a pointless review, it’ll build to simulate burying your head in a litterbox. Ugh I don’t even know what I enjoy anymore. Too conflicted by self-loathing inherent to appreciation of this candy genre. Billed as caramels. There’s boiled sugar there, but not much flavor. Can’t detect any licorice despite seeing lakrits in the ingredients… perhaps I’ve destroyed my tastebuds? Probably deserved it.

If you know, you know. Definitely acquired taste, I love it. If you have had the salty licorice from Europe, this one has a bite and then has a wonderful flavor.

The taste is hard to overcome. I love salty licorice, so I thought I’d try other salty candy. I can’t get past the taste of these, almost chemically in nature. Not very good at all, but I must muster through these since I hate throwing money away. Will not buy again.

If you like salt licorice go for it they are hard small and taste really salty and really good kind of with a powder layer on top highly recommended!
