isopon Body Repair Kit for Holes (UP5008)

I rear-ended a truck with a trailer hitch and put a rather large hole in my front bumper. The car isn't worth enough to get it fixed professionally, but my kids were really embarrassed. I bought this kit, watched the online videos, and gave it a shot! I was amazed at how well it worked. I had an extra-tough hole to fix: max diameter of 5 inches, one edge was air, and the whole bumper was pushed in a bit so the surface was curved. I ended up turning the mesh 45 degrees to get maximum hole coverage. The repair isn't perfect, but it looks a whole lot better. If I had it to do over again, I would be more careful to get the air bubbles out of the fiberglass reinforced epoxy before applying it. It is thick and this stuff sets up FAST. I had to patch some bubble holes from the first step with the second step epoxy. I would also buy a larger spreader than the one in the kit if you have a large hole to repair. Overall, it was easy to use and the videos were very useful.
