This is a nicely produced item that is comfortable to use and looks good and sturdy. For the money it is good value although the lens is not of very high quality. Its value to the user will depend on what is required - you may not always get the detail that is wanted.

There are two types metal and plastic both look the same same type of box. I have both. The metal version out shines the plastic one, more powerful across the glass lens no distortion the metal version strong and perfect.

It highlights and magnifies things for you, but if you expected it to do more like cooking your dinner then I wouldn't bother.

Only problem no instructions to fit the batteries, tried all ways no joy . Otherwise does it’s job good grip.

Used for the general reading of the small or obscure script, and photos, only negative an extra magnifying bubble or blip would have been an asset

Grandaughter broke Granda's previous plastic magnifying glass! Could have bought one exactly the same but went for this one instead. It's really good quality and not lightweight but not too heavy either. Would recommend for value for money and nice to look at!
