IMUSA USA Bamboo Mortar and Pestle, Small, Natural

Item arrived broken,in two pieces as pictured,will not buy again,not sure if it was from shipping but that’s unacceptable

It say large but its really small. Dont work for do mofongo.

Not large at all more tall than large.

I was looking for a large mortar and pestle primarily for making mufungo. I searched all the local kitchen stores with no luck except for small marble ones. This one is the largest I could find without going back to Puerto Rico and buying one on the street.It is suitable for mashing up one plantain and has met my needs.It arrived promptly from the seller and the packaging was adequate. I would most certainly do business with this seller again.I treated it with linseed oil upon arrival as I do for all my wooden cooking utensils.

This mortar and pestle from IMUSA is the best, in my opinion. I had it before but when I moved across country from the East coast to the West coast, I lost it. I repurchased it and I am very well pleased. I had bought others not made of bamboo but I was not pleased. I am so glad Amazon offers this product and I was able to purchase it. Thanks.

I love it, just the right size to mash up garlic/peppers etc for sofrito...good handful. a pestle is easy to grip and not a wimpy size or fragile...awesome price too

Very useful tool in the kitchen.

When I ordered a "large" mortar & pestle, that's what I expected. Instead I got a small. Not a mini, but not even medium by mortar standards. My family has owned & used this item for many generations to grind spices, garlic & make spice rubs. I have to grind in tiny portions because there isn't room in the mortar for what I need.

slon limage je croyais avoir un article un peu plus grand que celui que jai recu suis vraiment desoléé mais ca ne va pas maider si yavais moyen je l aurai retourner cr je ne peux pas m en servir mais lobjet est bon et util pour ceux qui ont ;habitue mais juste la grosseur de cet article ne m aide pas
