INCREDIBLE PRODUCT!!!!!
Disclaimer: No one gave this to me to try for free. I paid for it with my hard earned money. I don’t do a lot of reviews but this particular product far exceeded my expectations. I purchased the U3 Dynamic wireless mic adapter a couple months ago. I’ve wanted to go wireless for a while, but didn’t want to cough up the $850 for the Sennheiser 935 wireless mic. Like most other musicians I have a case full of microphones, but I love my Sennheiser 935 and don’t really care for the rest. I was skeptical of the quality of a wireless adapter but I am super impressed with this product. There are not many companies these days that under promise and over deliver, but this is one of them. I sing for about 2-4 hours a day and the battery lasts a long time. It last so long in fact, that I decided to put it on a stopwatch. Every time I would sing I would start the clock and stop it when I finished. It took 4 hours and 23 minutes for the red light to come on at the receiver. It was a total of 8 hours and 6 minutes before it started blinking. There were zero issues with sound quality for that entire time. I can’t say they are all like that, but mine certainly is. I tend to move around the room or venue when I sing so distances varied from 6-25 feet. It didn’t come with a charger, but I’m using a genuine Apple iPad Pro charger that has the usb 2.0 connector for the block. As far as the distance it works, I’ve only been able to go about 70 feet and there were zero issues. Another great thing about these are that they can be attached to anything you don’t want to use a cable for. Also, now that I’m wireless, there are some venues where I can setup before anyone arrives and this enables me to walk the entire venue and get the levels setup from the audience perspective. Sometimes I have friends that sing with me, so I plan to get a second one soon. It’s just an outstanding product. The only thing I can’t comment on is longevity, but if the quality I’ve seen at this point is any indication, I think it will last for quite a while.

Worked perfectly
I recently entertained at two-holiday parties. I was able to use the Xvive U3 Wireless Microphone System to send my audio mix across banquet facilities without the need to run XLR cables around the facilities. My setup consisted of a Bose L1-8, a JBL 10-inch EON powered speaker, an iPad, a NUX B-6 Saxophone Wireless System, an Audio-Technica 3000 Handheld Wireless System, and an iPhone. Before my first event, I tried the system out in my backyard to verify the sound quality, and to ensure the levels and sound quality would be the same as using XLR cabling. I placed the transmitter and the receiver about 75 feet apart and tried everything as if it were the gig. The line/mic switch enabled me to get the appropriate level on the secondary speaker. I had to set the switch to mic for the signal to be equal to that of the main speaker. Everything sounded balanced with this adjustment. The combined system sounded great with the two speakers being approximately 75 feet apart. The first event was on the patio of a restaurant. A parking lot was just outside the area and I was concerned that there might be some interference. I set the system up and verified no interference from any other systems in the area. Everything sounded great! Backing tracks, my saxophone, talkback mic, and house music. It all sounded the same as cabled. There were lots of cell phones and other electronics in the area. No interference issues. The event lasted 5 hours and the battery held up the entire time. The second event, this event was in a banquet hall. Again, I set the system up using the Xvive U3 Wireless Microphone System to send a signal to a 15-inch EON-powered speaker. Again, the system worked flawlessly. The transmitter on the Bose was approximately 75 feet from the power speaker receiver. Again, there were many cell phones and other electronics in the area, and there were no issues. This event lasted approximately 6 hours Excellent product. Works as advertised. Have not tried using the unit with a microphone, but the sound quality as a transmitter to create a wireless speaker setup is excellent. I plan to purchase another set to have the ability to run to a pair of remote speakers without the need for cabling. I would recommend this product to others.

Impressed this singer who always said he'd never go wireless!
It only takes one frustrating experience during a live performance to turn a singer off of wireless for life! I've had more than one over the years, some due to limited range/interference, but mostly batteries dying mid performance. I said I'd never go wireless again. In addition to leading Sunday Worship, I am also fronting a classic rock cover band for fun on the weekends. Our sets are high energy, and we play in a wide variety of settings. Some venues provide plenty of room to move, and I found myself wanting more freedom to cover the stage, engage with my bandmates, and generally bounce around and have a good time! I wasn't thrilled about going wireless, but I also don't need to trip over a mic cable. Also, I LOVE my mic! A wireless mic of comparable quality was going to easily run me $400-500. Last but not least, I use a little pedal to provide some reverb and compression. I was unsure if the wireless setup would play well with my pedal. Then I saw the X-Vive U3! It was getting rave reviews, was priced well, and would let me keep my beloved wired mic. With Amazon's return policies and an upcoming gig, I figured I'd give it a try. Worst case I could return it if it failed to meet expectations. I was/am impressed! Super easy to use and set up out of the box. It's small and sleek, but solidly built. Had about a 40% charge out of the box, and the included double micro-USB cable brought it to 100% quickly. I tested it at home with my pedal and a keyboard amp. Mic --> Transmitter --> Receiver --> Pedal --> XLR cable --> amp. Worked great! At the gig I knew range would not be an issue, since it only need to reach my pedal, which I keep by the monitors at my feet. Sound was outstanding! I observed no latency or signal degradation at all. Most impressive was the battery life. We typically do a 3 hour gig separated into 3 sets with 5-10 minutes between. My intent was to charge the unit between sets, but at the end of the 1st set the LED indicator for 50% power had not yet come on. So I put off the recharge. End of 2nd set, same thing! Still above 50% charge! This little unit went the entire 3 hours and never got below 50%! Amazing! Got another gig coming up, so hopefully we'll see a repeat performance from the U3.

Warranty and customer service
A DJ friend recommended this product. I bought it to turn a second mic into a wireless mic for speeches at a wedding I deejayed. It worked great. Super good sound quality. My day job is as a teacher, and I brought it into my classroom for day-to-day use to turn a mic wireless so I could amplify my voice as I walked around the classroom. It worked so good. About 9 months in, it stopped working. It sounded like it had a blown speaker. Just terrible. I contacted their customer support via the manufacturer’s website, and they asked me to ship them the defective product, and they sent a new one back to me. They replaced the defective one, and I love having this tool back in my arsenal. Great product - I just hope it works for years. I will definitely activate the warranty so that I have a fallback if this second one gives me any problems. I have a few DJ buddies who use these dongles to send full audio (dancing music) to remote speakers at gigs, and they love it too.

Great for small venues, but range can be limiting
Easy setup and works really well when used within close range (about 10–15 feet). I’ve used this for three live performances and many rehearsals in smaller, intimate spaces without issues. However, during a recent indoor festival performance where my setup was about 30–40 feet from the receiver, I experienced consistent interference through both my Xvive in-ear monitors and the speaker output. My signal chain was a Sennheiser e935 → Scarlett 2i2 & MacBook Pro → venue PA system. The system still functioned, but the static from the weaker connection was distracting during the performance. For small venues, rehearsals, or close-range setups, this works great. For larger venues or longer distances, you may need to keep your setup closer or consider upgrading to a higher-range wireless system. Overall, solid value and very easy to use.

Buy 'em. You'll like 'em.
Update: While the product literature says they are charged when the red light turns off... I have found this to not be the case. The lit. also says a full charge takes five hours. Believe that! Charge for five hours and they will work for four to five hours is what I have found. (Technical note: I use a 20 watt Apple charger. See image for how I charge four units with one charger using: Duttek Multi Micro USB Charging Cable 1.5FT, 4 in 1 Micro USB Splitter Charge Cable, USB 2.0.) I have been using these Xvive U3s for two years. Synopsis: They have never failed me. No drop outs. Great battery life, well built, great sound. Not cheap, but for the money, a great value—way cheaper than "the real thing" (like a Shure Diversity system.) I use 2 sets every Wednesday night for an outdoor open mic (in Florida). The transmitters are plugged into my stage mics (Telefunken M80s). The receivers are plugged into a snake on the stage that is at the performers' feet, so the transmission distance is but a few feet (accordingly, I have no idea the range of these units). But given this configuration, I have never had a drop out and the clarity of the sound is indistinguishable to me from a wired mic—and I'm a stickler for sound quality—hence the Telefunkens when a Shure 58 would do). I set up at five. Generally turn the mics on about six-thirty, and run until ten to ten fifteen. I have never had one of these units run out of juice in this time frame. A couple of times, performers have dropped a mic with one of these units attached or detached a unit which then fell to the floor. Still ticking. (They landed on a thin oriental rug I cover the cement floor with.) Bottom line on construction: Rugged and well built. Brain-dead simple to operate. Just click a button to toggle channels so that receiver and transmitter match. Note: These are the units designed to work with dynamic mics (i.e., won't work with a mic needing phantom power.) Easy to charge—takes a couple hours. No idea how many charge cycles on the batteries, but I am in the neighborhood of a hundred cycles right now. Only beef: Wish the off button had some sort of fail-safe click or locking feature. It is easy to inadvertently leave one of these units on or set it back to on when you think it's off. Then you show up to gig with a dead unit. Going wireless is essential to me in running open mics. With performers getting up and down all night and with the need sometimes to move mics around on stage to accommodate keyboard player/singers, etc., it's a nightmare with cables (and it's unsafe as h.e. double hockey sticks). I generally have one acoustic guitar and a bass running wirelessly as well with the Xvives. No problems with that set up either (the guitar/bass units do run in the 5.8 GHz spectrum.) Buy 'em. You'll like 'em.

Works great, but.....
I bought this to use with a Crown CM-311A headset mic. It's very easy to use, just plug in, turn on, and it syncs right up. Sound and range both good. I was walking around 40 or 50 feet from the sound board with no drop outs. The problem I have is that it makes a high whining noise when plugged into the Crown mic. I have an Audio Technica mic that it doesn't make this noise with, but the Crown is a better sounding mic. I contacted the manufacturer and they said some condenser mics with preamp circuitry make some noise. They suggested using a short extension mic cord to separate the wireless from the mic. I am going to try this, but not real happy about it, as it's just more stuff to worry about when on stage. I would rate this 5 stars if not for this problem, but I am going to keep it since I like everything else about it and I can make it work. Update 5/23. I've used this system for about a year and a half and been very happy. Lately though, it has started to change channels all by itself when I'm not even touching it. If I squeeze the case, it will make it change but when I'm on stage I'm not touching it. Really makes it unusable on stage. The battery life in the transmitter seems to be getting shorter also. Changing my rating from four to 2 stars because of the problems and relatively short lifespan of the system. Update 8/16/23. I contacted Xvive and told them about my problem. They emailed back and said it's out of warranty but would give me a discount on another system. After a couple more exchanges and a video of the problem, they agreed to replace the system at no charge. That's awesome customer service and I'm very happy with the outcome. I really love this wireless, it's much better sound wise than a cheaper system I bought from another manufacturer for a dynamic mic.
