You can have lots of gas, the can is made very well. Obviously it's more expenses that plastic cans. But you won't need to buy another for many years to come. It has a funnel which makes it super easy to pour the gas into your lawnmower with out spilling it on the lawnmower.

Good quality safety can. The metal is thick and feels way more durable than the cheap plastic cans. The spring-loaded lid works well and seals tight so there’s no smell or leaks when it’s sitting in the truck. The flame arrestor is a nice safety feature too. It pours clean if you tilt it slowly, but it can be a little slower than a normal spout since it’s a safety design. Overall it feels built to last and definitely better than the plastic cans that crack over time. Would buy again.

This is a really well made gas can that holds 5 gallons and is easy to use as it comes with a funnel that attaches to can to fill lawn mower etc. It has a well designed flip lever cap that seals when not in use but opens when hand contacts the opening lever. Made of metal.

I absolutely love the Eagle 5 Gallon Red Safety Gas Can! I’ve used plenty of plastic gas cans in the past, but none of them compare to this one. The build quality is top-notch – it feels solid and durable, and it’s much more stable than the plastic containers I’ve had before. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t flip over in the back of my truck, even when I’m driving on rough roads, which is a huge bonus. Very sturdy and easy to use. It is a bit heavy when full, but that's normal for 5 gallons. No complaints.

This is a good gas can, but very difficult to fill if using in California due to the vapor recovery nozzle of the gas pumps in CA requiring full insertion to compress the vapor recovery ring to activate the pump. The reason reason is that the non-removable spark arrestor in the spout of the gas can limits how far you can insert the pump nozzle. You either need two people (one to hold the can open and other to insert the pump with one hand and pull back on the vapor recovery ring with the other) or you need to use something to keep the can open (clamp, hook, etc.), so you can both hands to insert the pump and pull back on the vapor recovery ring.

You get what you pay for. Extremely well built tight springs on lid, with good seal. Have used for a few months now fueling my tractor. Works great.

This container is as much of a piece of art as it is a fuel can. If more people, and more companies put the pride into the products they make as this company does, the world would be so much better. I’ve never purchased a fuel container in my life that excited me when my eyes first crossed it. I slowly removed it from the box, mesmerized at its perfection. I examined it thoroughly, feeling as if I had found a treasure that was in immaculate condition, straight from 1970. I immediately called my dad. He’s got to see this, he’s got to pick it up and rewind life 55 years. I can’t wait to show my friends this masterpiece. I should not be surprised. It says right on it that it’s made in West Virginia. The mountain folks of the USA built this thing to last. Good Job West Virginia. I hope you become the new, better China.

Item arrived crushed in on both sides. The packaging box was intact so likely shipped out already damaged!

Leaks like a sieve around the funnel when pouring. Wouldn't buy again for that reason.

This can is metal and has a safety valve to prevent the can from exploding. I had a plastic can explode in my car trunk and that is dangerous.. This gas can is compelely safe. Another Great Product From Amazon.

This will be the last gas can you’ll need to buy. Solid construction. Easy to pour. Lid will vent under high pressure. Funnel can fill small engines and your vehicle. Makes me feel better knowing my gas is stored as safely as possible. Just ordered a second one of these.
