Absolutely amazing wallet - if you can get over the price.
Bought this to replace an aging wallet which was basically falling apart. I had always wondered though, why - when I didn't particularly keep much in it, it was so chunky? It used to put me off taking it places if it had to go in my jeans pocket because it was so bulky.I began my search for a replacement, however it seems to me as someone living in the UK, that most wallets - especially the slimline ones - seem to be made with US notes in mind. American notes are of a uniform size, and not very tall. Thus, when trying to put a larger UK note like £20 in, the top few millimeters would stick out of the top and then get frayed over several days of squeezing it in and out of pockets etc.Enter the Bellroy Leather Note Sleeve... I had discovered this lineup of wallets and the reviews were generally good. Two things however stopped me from really buying one immediately. 1) That no-one was specifically calling out the fact that it was the right size for UK notes, and 2) the price!I ended up using a ruler to measure my current wallet and compare it to the given dimension of both the Bellroy Leather Slim Sleeve and also the Leather Note Sleeve wallets. In the end I determined the Note Sleeve would be the safest bet to accommodate UK bank notes. The money side of things was a little harder to decide upon. £65 is a *lot* for a wallet (to me, anyway), but I decided to give it a go, knowing that I'd returned things to Amazon before and the process was always so simple - so if it didn't suit my needs I could return it easy enough. When the wallet arrived, I transferred the contents of my old wallet over to this new one - and I kid you not - it was still less than half the thickness of my *now empty* old wallet. I cannot believe the difference. Even after putting 3 credit/debit cards, my nectar card, my gym membership card, my driving licence, a couple of my business cards, and 3 or 4 bank notes in it - it was LESS THAN HALF my old wallet's thickness!I knew right then it was the right choice and that I wouldn't be returning it. That was about a month or so ago and I've enjoyed using this wallet ever since (yes, when would you ever say you "enjoyed" using a wallet?). I have no issues carrying in in jeans pockets - or anywhere else. It is barely visible. The quality of the manufacturing seems good too - nice leather, stitched well, and the lining is nice too. The card slots, which initially were quite 'stiff' have softened up though usage so it's easy to get the cards in and out. And I especially like the "pull tab" mechanism to retrieve the less-used cards from their hiding place. The only downside to this wallet is that although there is a place to put coins, I really wouldn't bother. It is a little fiddly with a little flap, built into the back of the note holding slot. But, if you can get over the £65 price tag - which admittedly I would knock a star off for if only I didn't like it so much - then this is a very worthy investment and I don't regret buying it for a second.

Lasted seven years
This wallet is exceptionally good quality, to the point that mine only just started to wear out after just under seven years of being my main wallet (bought September 2016) and being chucked in bags, put in back pockets and sat on and being carried around all over the place alongside keys, phones and god knows what else - but even then it still fundamentally works, just looks scuffed inside and has some holes worn through on the inner fold. Even the little pull tab for infrequently used cards works absolutely fine after this long as being a daily driver. It's so good, compact and durable that I didn't consider any other wallet for a replacement. I'm annoyed that they discontinued the previous blue colour I had, and some of the pockets got looser over time, but that's literally the only issues I have and they're incredibly petty. The tolerances on the new one appear a bit tighter and now it comes with RFID blocking whereas my previous one didn't have this.I also have a Bellroy phone case and this too is excellent quality. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Quality genuine leather wallet
I’ve waited for 2 months of usage before reviewing this wallet to give an accurate and fair review. I’m pleased to say that it’s an excellent quality genuine leather wallet that looks and feels (and smells) fantastic, and will give many years of service based on daily use so far, and still looks like new!I was looking for a slim wallet, made from genuine quality leather to hold about 8 cards, a few cash notes, a spare key or a few coins , receipts, without being too bulky and this does the job and more than perfectly! I ordered the green one, it looks and feels great, it does everything that I’ve expected. I put my main 3 cards that I use in the slots when the wallet is opened, with another 4 loyalty cards etc in the pocket on the left which are revealed when the leather tab is pulled up. There’s another space for a card neatly tucked away behind the note section, and a coin section behind that which I keep a spare key in. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and will definitely be buying again when it wears out which I suspect will be quite some time.

Bellroy: quality costs less
As other reviewers have commented, this is not a cheap option for a wallet. Is it worth it? On the evidence so far I would have to say yes. This wallet is well-designed, sleek and does precisely what Bellroy claims it will: store your cards and money without producing a bulky wallet to lug around. The compartment for notes easily takes UK-size notes of £5, £10 and £20 denominations, and the flap compartment takes a few bits of loose change, but you certainly can't over-stuff this section - five one pound coins max? 3 front slits take the cards you use most often, while a pull out flap section stores the rest of them stacked together. It's a nice piece of kit, and it does actually make you consider the essentials to be carried with you, and what can be left at home. Working on the basis that quality costs less - and covered by a 3 year warranty - it's certainly worth considering as a wallet that will hopefully last a long time without losing shape.
