Nate and Brynn are adorable!!
I loved this book! Way more than I thought I would. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a sexy love story with a step-twist. This wasn't what you'd think of as "taboo", because the feelings was there way before their parents got together. I love how their story progressed...it wasn't instant love it was something that you can sink your teeth into. Nate and Brynn really connected and it was apparent through the pages. When they finally got together it was red-hot passion!! And I appreciated that. I like that the sex scenes were detailed and the growing love was apparent. Nate really changed for her. He loved her enough to put her first in the end.Nate was sexy as sin and Brynn was sweet with a sexy edge. They were absolutely perfect together. At first I kinda liked her mom's new husband. But then I noticed that both parents had problems. Pierced more so.This book was refreshing for me to read. It wasn't as messed up and crazy with fight scenes as in the book series, fallen crest high, which features step siblings together. So it still was dangerous and sexy but without as much emotional turmoil as that series goes through.I highly recommend this book! It's so much fun and it features an amazing happily ever after ending. I am so glad that I found this book and got the chance to read it. It's worth every dime! What are you waiting for? Get it today!

The Poor Mom
Nate Thornhill, a junior at the University of Virginia, is captain of the crew team and the lacrosse team, which is impossible, since they are both spring season sports. He is wait-listed for a "Lawn Room," a coveted housing spot on campus awarded to the 27 men and 27 women who achieve the highest grades in the junior class. He's an ambitious, hard-driving young man who balances his classes and his team commitments. He also happens to be handsome, effortlessly magnetic to campus women, and the son of a successful lobbyist and former congressman of no age -- is he a young dad or an older one? Did he make his own success or did he have a helping hand from a prior generation? Like many linear-plot stories, there are no side trips into Nate's grandparents' lives or deaths, or a reason for their complete absence in the family structure, especially at a large Fourth of July party the family hosts. Nate pushes himself through his sports training workouts and glides effortlessly through his social encounters with women, no commitments made. The heroine of Stepbrother Untouchable -- and hat's off to Colleen Masters for sticking to one POV for this book, which is hers -- is named Brynn Atwell. She is also a UVA junior and she has won a Lawn Room for her excellent grades. Instead of sports, which is a luxury in this country since many middle class students hold down jobs after school to pay for expenses instead of joining a team, Brynn has spent her free time working in the campus dining halls as a provision of her college scholarship. At one point she wonders if she might have enjoyed sports? Too late now, as a college junior. Brynn is kind of a know it all, but unsure of herself, too. When she administers first aid to Nate's open cuts, she pours peroxide over his skin, which is not the way it should be done. The new protocol for wound care is to use sterile saline solution, Not peroxide or alcohol to clean a cut, then add neosporin ointment and a bandage. With saline, the wound heals faster. The parents are Holly and Pierce. Holly is beautiful and well-maintained. She never married Brynn's biological father, so her hurry-up marriage in the Caribbean to Pierce is her first venture into legal matrimony. Pierce was married once before to Nate's mother, but they divorced when he was young and she has not had any custody rights. I am fairly certain mothers, unless imprisoned or institutionalized, always have custody rights at some level in the court system. But not in this book. Holly is a manicurist who works at a salon and has managed to purchase her own home and a car, which shows how successful her business is. Brynn wishes her mother had had more opportunities to achieve more, and yet, even without a college degree, Holly has single-handedly raised a capable, intelligent college student, kept a roof over their heads, is a nice caring person, and married a successful, attractive businessman. Now that she is married, Holly no longer works, but volunteers and supports her husband. She puts her small house up for sale. She embraces her new situation and works hard to bring the family together at meals she cooks and activities such as river kayaking that she organizes. This is a story with class undertones that speaks to life in 21st century America. I think the author has a good read on how things work.Stepbrother Untouchable is also a coming of age story for Brynn. There's plenty of new relationship drama that is well written, not artificially drawn out,, and lots of sex in detail. It's a good story. Recommend!

Heart-aches Galore! Byrnn and Nate = Hot and Sexy
I love reading stories that like this....pulls at the heartstrings. Byrnn is such a sweetheart and so innocent. She's very relatable and her relationship with Nate--how it unfolds--it's so well-paced and real that I could not put this down! I promised myself that I would savor every moment, but I rushed through it impatient to see the HEA.I actually cried for Byrnn. I could really relate to her character and the insecurities she had with dating, boys, and intimacy--especially with Nate. She faced those challenges head on and was one of the reasons why I loved this book so much. Nate is not such a badass, but a good guy at heart. I did enjoy his character development and how he slowly but steadily lets Byrnn into his heart.Colleen Masters is fast becoming a favorite author of mine. I'm looking into her other works. I've already read Stepbrother Billionaire, which is another good read, but definitely not as well developed as Stepbrother Untouchable--which is so good that I plan to re-read it right now! Highly recommended!!

It was an okay read.
Nate and Brynn get off to a rocky start when he asks if she wants to be part of a three-some when she accidentally knocks on his door at his frat house. Brynn discovers to her horror the next day that Nate is her new step-brother. Nate tries to intimidate Brynn and uses the knowledge that she lusts after him to his advantage. Brynn finally gets somewhat of a backbone and turns the tables. When both characters finally get on the same page, Pierce (the step-dad) does something that causes Brynn to call him out at dinner. Instead of standing by Brynn, both her mother and Nate say nothing. Brynn then realizes that she is on her own. Brynn then does something that I didn't agree with personally and sandbags Nate into a situation he wasn't ready for. Needless to say, there were no Disneyland races to the finish with this couple. The ending was well done and the story actually packed a lot in for being a short book.

Jaaa, war mal was anderes
