Great Solution for Slippery Rulers
These work great. My only quibble: I was send the black ones, not the ones pictured.

Works well!
Ordered because my rulers slip with another product that was supposed to keep them from slipping. I chose this because of high ratings and it is wonderful. My rulers don’t slip anymore! After you use up the dots you can still use the background sandpaper because it is also adhesive backed so a lot of material in each package!

Great dots for rotary cutting rulers
Great dots to hold rulers when rotary cutting. Some people will use a hot glue to dot but these have just a bit of sandpaper so they don't slip.

I quilt so I have to cut a lot of material. Quilters use heavy plastic rulers of various sizes and with a rotary cutter the fabric is cut along the edge of the ruler. I've ruined a lot of fabric by the ruler shifting while cutting which makes the piece irregular and can't be used. The rulers, no matter what the size they are shift very easily and it's a real pain to try to stop it from doing that while cutting. These little dots are great. I put several on my big, long ruler and there is no more slippage! They work like a charm. One side is a pull off adhesive and the exposed side is some sort of rough, tough product that looks like felt but is much stronger and rougher. Even though it's rough, made to attach itself to the material being cut, it's not rough enough to ruin the material. The ruler is easily removable from the material. It doesn't stick. I really like it and would recommend it.

Works well on smoother table surfaces.

They last a long time and stay affixed to the ruler. Plus don’t block the view of the ruler lines.

Putting them on my quilting rulers made a big difference. Now the rulers don't slip around when I am cutting out the fabric

I was cutting some silk fabric and it was a bit catchy. Otherwise OK
