I’ve repurchased this concealer several times because it never lets me down. It has great coverage without feeling heavy or cakey, blends easily, and does a great job brightening my under-eyes. It wears well throughout the day and always gives me a natural finish. I only wear concealer and powder most days, and this gives me all the coverage I need! Definitely a staple in my makeup routine.

I got the 120 color. May skin tone changes monthly. Right now I’m between super pasty and tan. And the color matches perfectly. It blends really well. I love the sponge applicator. It makes it easy to use when I’m running late. I keep it in my purse for touch up’s. It doesn’t make me break out. It’s a light to medium coverage. It’s very moisturizing. I have combination skin and it works for me. I wouldn’t say that it is very buildable because of the consistency. It’s a little watery but I feel like it would be good if you have dry skin. I also wear an oily moisturizer underneath so that could be why also. Overall, I like the product. Not the best but it’s good for the money. Matching my skin tone is always super hard for me with concealers so I’m just happy I found the right color. It helps cover my acne and redness and doesn’t feel like I have much on.

My Favorite Concealer This is my favorite concealer! I’ve been using it for years and absolutely love it. It provides great coverage for pores and acne while still leaving my skin looking natural. Also lasts a while. It doesn’t look cakey or feel greasy, which I really appreciate. It blends nicely and gives me the coverage I want without looking heavy. I’ll definitely keep repurchasing it!

I purchased the green color corrector hoping it would help cover, or at least minimize, the appearance of a scar on my lower leg. Unfortunately, it didn't work very well for that purpose. Even after applying the product, my scar remained quite visible and I didn't get as much color correction or coverage as I was hoping for. I have used Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer on my face before in the regular skin-tone shades and have really enjoyed it, particularly for my under-eye area. Because I'd had such a good experience with the regular concealer, I was excited to try the green version for an area where I wanted some additional color correction. For my particular use, however, the green version was disappointing. I don't necessarily think that means it's a bad product. A scar on the lower leg is very different from the facial redness or smaller areas of discoloration that a green color corrector would typically be used for, and I could see this working much better on the face. If you're considering this specifically to camouflage a noticeable scar on the body, I wouldn't expect it to provide significant coverage on its own. For facial redness, though, I would still consider trying it, especially since I've had such a positive experience with the regular Instant Age Rewind concealer formula. Three stars for me because it didn't accomplish what I purchased it for, but I think my intended use may have been asking more from the product than what it is designed to do.

The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind is hands down my favorite concealer. It provides excellent coverage for dark circles, blends effortlessly, and comes at a very affordable price. I've tried many concealers over the years, and this is still one of the best I've used. My only complaint is the packaging. The built-in sponge applicator feels completely unnecessary, and I always end up removing it. In my experience, it wastes product and isn't the most hygienic design. Aside from that, I have nothing negative to say about this concealer. The formula itself is fantastic and keeps me coming back to it again and again.

I am a makeup snob. I have stupidly high standards for cosmetic performance, and drugstore brands have let me down every single time I've given them a shot. So when I graduated from Covergirl to Sephora after college, I never looked back. My kit is full of Dior and YSL foundation, Armani concealer, Benefit brighteners, etc. I say this in order to grab the attention of my fellow makeup snobs: If you would never even consider Maybelline, this review is for you. Bloggers have raved about this product for a while, but I never bothered to check it out until a close friend and fellow product snob suggested it. Here are my findings: 1. It applies like the Armani Maestro Eraser liquid undereye concealer. This is very very essential, for those of us who hate the 5th hour cakiness of cream concealers but also hate the weak coverage and creasing of most liquid attempts. This eraser goes on with the Maestro's same thin liquid texture, without sinking into lines at all, and without losing opacity as you blend. 2. It is at least 50% more opaque than the Maestro. I was pretty stunned. Anything that can go on with that consistency but have noticeably better coverage is doubletake worthy imo. 3. The sponge applicator is better than you think. Firstly, it's antimicrobial, so you don't have to worry about the hygiene aspect. Secondly, its ability to blend the product is outstanding. I typically skip clumsy applicators like that, but with this, I do 80% of my application with that sponge tip, and then just finish with a good concealer brush to set it and blend out the edges. 4. It doubles as a highlighter. Every time I use this, I find myself seduced into just continuing the line of application from under my eyes out onto my cheekbones, brow bones, and nose bridge. A nice blending brush/sponge later, and there's this flawless highlight landscape to finish up, without settling badly into pores or caking up. 5. It sets beautifully with MUFE Micro HD powder and Shiseido translucent powder. It buffs out nicely, without chipping off into the brush. 6. It looks good without primer, which combined with its compact design and integrated applicator makes it an ideal purse dweller. 7. It worked on my thin but minimally wrinkled undereye area, and on my 60yo mother's more aged eye area. It's rare that I find a product that looks great on both our skin types, and I was impressed at how well it brightened her problem skin without caking or exacerbating the age marks. 8. It is lighter than you think, but cheap enough to test out different shades. 9. It lasts so much longer than you'd expect. I tested it on bare skin during a work-from-home day, just to see how the wear was, and was delighted to find it still working fairly well by the time I went to wash it off that night. I wore it again with a full face for a date night, and it looked flawless when I went to wash it off later. There are times when you don't want the totally opaque, nearly airbrushed look... but there are definitely times when you do. This eraser is now my official go-to product to pair with my Dior Airflash foundation, for those totally flawless skin look occasions. I could not recommend it higher, at very least as an experiment for the snobs among you.
