yummy
If you love a bold, rich cup of coffee, this CDM Ground Coffee & Chicory (Regular Grind) is a fantastic choice. It has that classic deep, slightly smoky flavor with a smooth finish that really stands out from standard coffees. The addition of chicory gives it a unique, almost velvety body and a subtle earthy sweetness that makes every cup feel a little more special. The grind works perfectly for drip coffee makers, but I’ve also used it in a French press with great results. It brews consistently strong without tasting overly bitter, which is something I really appreciate. Plus, it holds up well with cream and sugar but is just as enjoyable black if you like a more robust flavor. This coffee feels like a nod to traditional Southern-style blends comforting, flavorful, and dependable. It’s become a staple in my kitchen, especially for mornings when I want something a little richer than your average cup. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you enjoy full-bodied coffee with character!

New to chicory and this was a perfect blend for me.
I'm relatively new to chicory and have been adding it to my regular coffee, not just for taste but the health benefits too. But, I was unsure if I was doing it right. I realize it's a matter of taste, like how much of a spice you might add to a recipe but I decided to purchase this to use as my base taste provided I like it. I like it very much. It hits all the right notes for me. I'm definitely going to buy more, at this price, seriously! It had, for me, just the right strength of taste (I tend to like stronger flavors but not so strong as to set you back). This will sound silly but, I'm impressed also by the can. Very sturdy! Also the acidity is very mild and that's important to me. And it smells excellent. I'm very pleased.

Great chicory coffee
I was not sure what to expect from this brand-- I had never heard of CDM before, but good chicory coffee is hard to find, especially in larger sizes like this, I decided to give it a try. This coffee is excellent-- great flavor and the unique taste of chicory. In terms of quality, it is as good as the better known brands, but it is a much better value. As with any chicory coffee, the caffeine content is lower than regular coffee, but the flavor is the real draw here.

Bought for Ca Phe Sua Da - Vietnamese Iced Coffee
I am an avid drinker of Vietnamese Iced Coffee for around 9 years now, and have at least 1 glass a day. I usually do Cafe du monde orange can chicory coffee, but it's gotten more expensive at my asian grocers lately. I also like trung nguyen coffee on occasion- more buttery, chocolately, and super sweet of a brew v. the chicory blends. I noticed that this one feels a lot less caffeinated than Cafe du monde, and did not have as strong a coffee smell upon opening the can (probably a little older). The flavor and grind size is great for the Vietnamese phin drip maker though. I have been drinking for about a week and enjoy the flavor, but am missing the strong caffeinated kick I get from Cafe du monde. I like the french market roast and cafe du monde the best of those I have tried so far for chicory coffee blends. This one is not too bitter, but still brews dark - I would just prefer a stronger coffee taste and higher caffeinated brew for my daily dose. I will probably purchase some trung nguyen to mix into it.

CDM Coffee and Chicory
CDM Coffee and Chicory is the best coffee I have had. The coffee remains a good value and I enjoy the bold flavor and reminiscent of my visits to New Orleans. I recommend this coffee if you crave a strong cup of coffee!

An excellent value
The smell and taste of this coffee are great. I mix this coffee with regular coffee to make my own blend and it comes out perfect. For the price, it is an excellent value. There is no acidity whatsoever so all in all it makes for a great blend.

CDM Coffee & Chicory (Regular Grind). Good. Seems more acidic than other chicory blends. 3 /5
CDM Coffee & Chicory (Regular Grind). Good. Seems more acidic than other chicory blends. 3.25 Stars. We are great fans of New Orleans style café au lait with a coffee & chicory blend brew. We have been regular consumers of chicory coffee blends, CDM among those. The CDM blend, (both, as a café au lait, or regular cup of coffee) has a nice mouthfeel with a smooth mocha finish. However, CDM, for us, always seems a bit more acidic than other blends. We consider CDM on par with Café du Monde, French Market & Community, but not our first choice.
