5 stars for a reason
I can only give this book five starts bc it was better than all the rest the love story was beautiful over the course of four books but this last one topped it off bc it went straight to the point none of that nonsense chapters that didn’t need to be there I will have to say this series was a roller coaster it was good and I liked it over all but I can’t say I would read it again it felt very long a drawn out to me and honestly that was big negative for me I’ve read this authors books before it wasn’t like this but hey maybe it’s bc it’s a four part series who knows but over all it was a good read

perfect ending
Excellent little novella and epic conclusion to Kandy and Cane. I have devoured this series quickly because it was so good. This couple will stay with me forever. Perfection was written in these four books. I loved it so much.

dragged on
This third book dragged on and was so cliche. All the books had a bit of an amateurish tone. There were several times words were used incorrectly. For example: “ Voluptuous” was used to describe something that was large but voluptuous wasn’t the right word to use. It was almost like the author looked up synonyms for “big” and picked the longest word. Lol. Definitely a very basic and limited vocab was used. Also...the way Cane spends money is kinda like a billionaire but the author seemed really impressed by Cane having a million dollars. It was a little weird. As if the author didn’t fully understand how far money goes and what true luxury is. It just didn’t read well. There were a lot of details missing. Not a fan.

The final chapter in this forbidden romance does not disappoint!
The extremely complicated and very wild ride that has been Quinton Cane and Kandy Jennings is finally at its end. What these two have gone through to be together is to be admired. Their love has stood the test of time, an evil ex-girlfriend and one very stubborn father. But now it's time to plan a wedding and just when I thought it might be somewhat easier now, Shanora Williams still very cleverly manages to throw in a wrench or two on Cane and Kandy's way to happiness. But what else could I really expect? Through 3 books, we've watched this forbidden love bloom from a simple crush to a lifelong romance. And these two just seem to attract detours at every turn. But thankfully, Williams knows just how hard she can push them before Cane and Kandy fight back and claim their happiness proudly for all the world to see.I have truly enjoyed being with this fiery couple every step of the way and this conclusion gives us loyal fans what we have craved from the start, that hard-won bliss both Cane and his Kandy so rightfully deserve.4 solid stars!

good ending
This was a good way to end the Cane series. Although, having Derek and Q working their issues out would have been better. Derek walking Kandy down the aisle and then moving beside Q as his best man would have been a better scene.

4 delicious stars!
The whole series from start to finish was a sexy, passionate, tense filled ride!I loved both Kandy and Cane.Forbidden love at its best.Plenty of drama and angst to keep me on my toes, and the steam was right up there!I loved watching these two dance around each other for years. The teasing and banter helped build the suspense and I fell in love with their story.A great read and a great author who I'll be reading more of in the future!

The final instalment of the Cane journey.
An adorable ending to an adorable romantic series. Kandy Jennings becomes Mrs Quinton Cane. The age gap is irrelevant, as love conquers all. Kandy’s Family eventually come to terms that these two people are meant to be together and stay. I love Lora and would very much like her story to be explored. I’m sure it would make an interesting read. Shanora is not shy to take on controversial topics, and put them across both sympathetically and sensitively . 17 years is not a life time away from each other particularly when very intense love is envolved, however society finds it difficult to address with respect for both parties and morally. This novel although fictional covers this topic well. Rationally, showing family biases and prejudices and how through giving and taking can adapt and move forward. A great novel. Well written. Lots going on and a terrific amount to enjoy, but spoiler alert, handkies need.

This last book was sloppy
I loved this series don’t get me wrong, but this last book was annoying. The author inserted an “old flame” from Cane’s past who wanted to be with him again and get some revenge. The whole thing was stupid and the woman came off as crazy like Kelly. This part of the story was just unnecessary and I feel like the author could have ended their story in book three.
